Hold onto your hat and scarf, sniff the restorative celery and take a swig of carrot juice... the waiting is almost over... Please feel free to use this thread for the eruption of posts that is almost upon us! (I am number13 but that's in honour of a ghost story by M.R.James - it has nothing to do with the Thirteenth Doctor... probably...
15.46 On Centre Court, it's 5-3 in the third and probably final set. The Time Visualiser predicts: 15.53 Roger Federer wins for the 8th time 6-3, 6-1, 6-4 (Check) 16.05 Trophy Ceremony begins 16.30 Ceremony ends 16.31 TARDIS materialises on Centre Court and out steps...

15.56 Trophy Ceremony begins, over by 16.10
Now, who knows? The BBC schedule is giving no clues at all as to what exactly they are going to do.
There's usually a few minutes' chat with the commentators about the match and there's still the Mixed Doubles final to come (but that final is on BBC2 this year.)

Programe don't end till 6-6:30PM Regards mark687 I imagine that's more provisional, if in the event it took longer. The Who reveal isn't scheduled, after all. They certainly can't stretch a recap or review for another near two hours.

Programe don't end till 6-6:30PM Regards mark687 The problem with scheduling tennis (especially Mens' matches at the Grand Slams) is they don't know if it will take 3 / 4 / 5 sets, so the timing is very flexible. This was a very short final, so the Doctor may be coming sooner than expected... or more likely they will keep to the scheduling and extend the tennis chat. Interviews with the new champion happening now, BBC waiting . EDIT: The Mixed Doubles final shows as BBC2 from 6.30pm, we have a British player in both pairings this year so it will get proper coverage on One or Two I hope. (I seem to remember that in past years it was sometimes put on the Red Button.)

Never heard of her other than as speculation for The Doctor, so no idea whether she will be good or bad, but honestly I am glad they have gone for a woman.

Yep it really could. I really didn't think that a new producer would want to shake things up from the start, but that teaser has proved me wrong and I feel happy about that😊

But she's now blonde! Why did they do that? It will take some getting used to.
