Nosferatu (1979) by Popol Vuh.
Soundtrack to the extraordinary vampire film from Werner Herzog. I think the track On The Way is probably the scariest piece of music I've ever heard.

I have taken to putting up with ads with albums on YouTube because I've decided it's easier than loading discs in my computer, so I listened to Yes Relayer which I continue to think is the most brilliant thing anyone's ever done.
It said people of my tastes might also like Curved Air, which is really interesting because I've heard of them now again for a long time - I think I even have legal live recordings of them - but I've never gotten around to hearing them before, so I listened to their 1975 live album. Wow! I haven't even gotten to deciding yet if I like them, I'm still too busy just being blown away by them, and the first thing that really grabbed me is just how much they might have influenced some of the music I like most (plus I'm a big sucker for electric violinists, lol).

Queen A Night At The Opera (now and then everyone needs to rock out to Bohemian Rhapsody, lol), and Jeff Beck There And Back - gotta be one of his best.

Donovan Cosmic Wheels. Intergalactic Laxative still makes me bust out laughing, lol. Also the song Celtic Rock from Open Road. Haven't heard that in ages. My mother found an LP copy at a rummage sale for 25 cents and thought I might like it, and I was blown away by that song. Still am actually.

This is getting to be an interesting business following YouTube suggestions. Apparently because I heard Donovan, I also got to hear the Wind in the Willows album whatever it's called. Always meant to give that a listen someday. Debbie Harry sounds really good. They should have let her sing a lot more, I think she has potential, lol. Also heard David Bowie, The Man Who Sold The World. I must have a special fondness for Black Country Rock, that's like the second or third time in a couple of weeks I think I've listened to it.
I will have to use this amazing new power of recommendations sensibly, though. It's actually distracting to try to hear new things while I work. YouTube also recommended a jam session with Jimi Hendrix and Stephen Stills and not only did I have to stop working and listen, I had to salute lol. I never knew it existed.

3 lead singers in the band now, opens them up for more range. I pre ordered the deluxe 2cd version - should be in the mail next week. Been a fan since "Keeper Of The Seven Keys part 1".
Tonight on the big drive up to the Metallica cover band gig I listened to Annihilator "King Of The Kill" and on the way back, just got home, the self-titled album.
