So, since Supergirl premiered today, I was wondering who here watches the various DC TV shows (Gotham, Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, eventually Legends of Tomorrow) and which ones people like.
Gotham and the Flash my favorites, and I also really like Arrow. I'm not sure if I like Supergirl yet.

There's SO much now. If you'd told me in the 90s when even Superman and Batman were considered risky that we'd have tv shows starring The Atom, Supergirl, Rip Hunter, Mockingbird, Jim Gordon, John Constantine, Jesse Custer etc, I wouldn't have believed you.
I'm lamenting Arrow drifting too far from why I liked it 4 years ago for one. It reminds me of when Batman The Animated Series lost its classic noir design because it had to fit with characters like Martain Manhunter and Booster Gold once Justice League started. With Arrow, Series 1 was a very Nolan-esque crime story. Now in Series 4 it's almost enitrely based on the mystical and the scientific. Damien Dhark, the Al Ghul dynasty, Constantine...it's perfectly valid but would it be happening if the show didn't have to "fit" with Flash and Legends Of Tomorrow? I dunno. I like my shows to have unique identities.
I've got very high hopes for Supergirl as I think it could offer something very different in terms of DC TV.
Anyone else a fan of the 1990 Flash series? I loved that show as a kid. That, Batman TAS and (don't laugh) Lois And Clark got me into comics.

I liked the first season, but I like all the magic and sci-fi much more. I also heard that John Constantine is guest starring in Arrow, which means that there is another show that I have to watch. Does anybody know how to watch Constantine. I don't want to pirate it, and I can't find it on DVD, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, or NBC's website.

I'm sure it will be available in the US at some point.

Surprisingly i enjoyed Supergirl & found it to be a solid opener which has potential to be a good series.
The Flash series 2 going from strength to strength, ya got to love Cisco.
Arrow, i don't think the show has quite found it's footing this season & the recent resurrection of a dead character jumped the shark for me, athough the villain Damien Dark is a strong antagonist for Green Arrow.
David i got the 1990's Flash on DVD mate i remember watching it on Sky1, Barrys Dad actor John Wesley Shipp played the Flash in that series & Amanda Payes played Tina McGee who she also plays in this reboot.

Well, we knew she wasn't going to stay dead, since she's in Legends of Tomorrow. That also kind of gave away recent developments in The Flash.

Nope. And the comics are also pretty clear on it too. Plenty of times Ra's al ghul was carried to the pit by his followers when already dead.

Maybe they should have hinted earlier in the show that the pit can reverse death, although the name is kind of a giveaway.

Nope. Al Ghul himself was going to use it to ressurect The Waynes who he dug up, in the Justice League Tower Of Babel arc. And that was decades after their death. As noted, calling it "Lazarus" ONLY works if it does bring back the dead!

As far as DC shows, I am catching up on Season 3 arrow, caught up on Flash, caught episode 1 of Supergirl, and it has loads of potential. And I am so excited for Legends of tomorrow.

And while it was a "one off one time" deal (please say not) Constantine arriving in Star City and tying that series into the Flash/Arrow/Legends continuity made my day.

I've been a little disappointed with some of Flash Season 2, just because it's so heavy "legends prequel", but having Tom Cavanagh back makes it all better.

Kavanaugh is the best thing about Flash. I hope this Earth 2 version of Wells gets to stick about for good. Victor Garber just wasn't the same as the mentor. Henry buggering off still makes zero sense to me, though. He may as well have said "Barry, the story with your mother's death is done now so I don't fit into the narrative. Joe's the father figure and Wells is coming back so the writers don't need me. I'll come back when the plot requires it" Anyone watching Arrow this year a bit peeved that they seem to have new tech every week - including a whole new super-lab/lair - and it's always the fantastically lazy "Cisco did it" excuse. He seems to spend more time helping Felicity that worrying about Zoom and his meta-crisis! Like Flash, Arrow is firmly in "Set up Legends Of Tomorrow" mode right now with Sara and Ray.
