About partway through Enter Zoom. It's clear that Zoom won't be defeated this early, we're still only a third through the season, and Zoom is the big bad for season 2. Only bad can come from Barry's rather rash plan. I get the feeling that Joe is right about Barry's lack of closure over the defeat of Reverse-Flash. Cisco displayed a surprising lack of intelligence by not sealing up the pipeline before examining Dr. Light's capsule. He should have taken a leaf from Patty's book and investigated the possible applications of Light's abilities.

I'm liking the speculation going around that it's Henry Allen. My money is on him being Barry. Welles/Thawn was "Barry's reflection", we need a "Barry gone bad" without it being "our Barry" gone bad. Now, we do see Barry in chains in the future echoes while he was time travelling last season. Zoom doing something and unmasking as Barry could work. And given we have Evil-Linda with powers and good-Linda without powers, they can easily make the case that Barry isn't the Flash (especially if Wally or Iris are speedsters). An interesting Idea, I'd love a Trial of the Flash story line going on.

Finally caught up! And I have to say, the Legends of Tomorrow Prequel stuff is much better in Arrow than Flash.

I *ahem* don't see why Constantine can't be a member of Legends of Tomorrow after his own series cancelled and it has been explicitly stated that the Constantine that appears in Arrow is the same one from Constantine the show. Don't see why it can't be done. It's not like they're going to reboot it...or are they?

From everything I understand, it's to do with negotiations of who has the rights to show Constantine on Television. (Yay complicated things) And that this was just a one off, we made a deal to have him in an episode thing. I'd love for them to go back and get more solid rights to use him, and Manny. but that's a bit too hopeful. My guess is, after how high the ratings were that episode, you might seem him turn up again in Arrow or Flash (or Legends) in a 1 or 2 episode off. And next year he may be more...regular.

Also, where's the Vixen TV show.

Well, I enjoyed the short animated Vixen show, and hopefully Megalyn Echikunwoke will live guest as Vixen in Arrow or Flash. As for Supergirl? I'd like it but she's not the sticking point, Superman is, and Supergirl keeps referencing him. You'd think someone in Star City or Central City would have heard of Superman, at the least compared the Metas to him.

And Supergirl falls through a rift between worlds for an Episode, then leaves.

The Constantine of his own show, and Hellblazer, would have really sold them on how using magic that strong would carry a huge price - as heavy as using the pit itself perhaps. He did that just about every time he had to use magic in his own show but this Constantine was just happy to help and didn't seem conflicted at all about having to use his powers. It was a very kiddified version.

As much as I loved seeing him back, the episode felt rushed, and was obviously, "We have him for a day" type thing, so a lot of complexities of his are trimmed for that.
At least, that's how I read it.

Pretty much how I saw it. Not being his own show we didn't get the depth of the character because there was never going to be time to follow up on that.

One thing - apropos of nothing - I'm realy getting annoyed with in the CW shows is that everyone "geeky" talks exactly the same way. Fast, nervous, trying to be funny but coming off as goofy...you could take most Cisco lines and give them to Ray. You could take most of Curtis/Mister Terrific's lines and give them to Felicity. It's gotten very old.

I know that Gotham is the DC show not talked about, but did everyone enjoy the guest actress they had on tonight? {Spoiler} Did it seem that Michelle Gomez was playing this character the same way she plays Missy? I think they were very similar. Although I would say that her Gotham role was a little less playful and a little more sinister. Loved her.
