Baker's End: The Happenstance PoxIt’s been some time since the master of Baker’s End went charging into an infernoing tower. Since then he’s been lying swathed in bandages in the cottage hospital, tended by the rather mannish Sister Timperly. But the village of Happenstance has never needed the King of Cats more. A virulent plague is running rampant through the village, giant rats have been spotted in the undergrowth, and bestselling novelist and monster-hunter Derek Titts has arrived in Happenstance with his deadly arsenal to combat the rodent menace. What is Sister Timperley’s dreadful secret? Is Titts all he seems? What’s wrong with the Reverend Ailing? And can the King of Cats sproing back to life in time to save all our friends..? Includes digital pre-order of Baker's End: The Happenstance Pox. You get 1 track now (streaming via the free Bandcamp app and also available as a high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more), plus the complete album the moment it’s released. shipping out on or around October 6, 2017

I'm of two minds about this, the first and most prominent being "I hope Tom is well." It would stink if his health kept him from doing anymore.
What's the second? Oh, the second is "I'm sure Colin will bring something fresh and extremely loquacious to the role, but I'm gonna miss Tom."
I guess there's a third: "Will the character still be called 'Tom'?"

Tom's fine! But he signed up for three stories, we did them, and that was that. 2. We'll miss him too, Tom was extraordinary. But Colin will be great too - he really entered into the spirit of it. 3. No, he's Colin. Have you heard the trailer? soundcloud.com/bafflegabble/here-he-is-revealed-at-last

Tom's health was the first thing I thought of. I'm glad it is just business related. Colin will be great and I've already preordered.

Am loving the artwork, who is the artist?
And I really liked the covers for the first three Baker's End as well.

I have now, and I'm so glad that that line was included. The one I anticipated. You know the one.

I've really got to get around to ordering these. The central conceit sounds increasingly marvellous.
