I'm really hoping they offer a couple of alternative ways to subscribe before they change the format (assuming they're going to stop their standard monthly release schedule). Due to the way I've subbed in the past, there's going to be one single story I can't subscribe to, and it would eternally annoy me if I couldn't get the sub bonus for that one story. Maybe they could offer a selective number of additional months/releases that can be added to the "final subscriptions" just so those of us that want the bonuses don't miss out on the last couple?

Agreed...not least because my current MR subscription concludes next month, and I don't want to buy too far ahead if the structure is going to change! You can only subscribe through March of 2021. So nothing holding you back for at least a six month sub. Why not a 12 month? Starting in April means a 12 release one would go till 274 in February 2021. The model of subbing and the structure aren't changing till after that, bit hard to do when they've taken the money from people, so no risk at all subbing at least till then in confidence.

Or an outstanding 5 also for some of us the Super Sub only worked if you did a 6 month beforehand. (speaking as someone who's Subed since 1999/2000) Regards mark687

When the CCs ended as a monthly series they offered special subscriptions for less than 6 releases for anyone whose sub ended less than 6 releases before the range ended. If they are going to change the sub model, then I imagine they will do something similar with the MR

Similar problem here - obviously there's a 5/6 chance of any subscriber being left with a few stories they can't sub to if the monthly release schedule ends or the price changes siginificantly for box sets, etc. So to avoid annoying 5/6 subscribers by leaving us without the extras, scripts and Sub ST BF will have to do something to bridge the gap neatly.
If there even is a gap, who nose? I'd quite like to know what's going to happen as soon as they know, which must be by now surely?
EDIT: Lidar's post is reassuring, ta.

For people with only 1 or 2 releases of a gap I get why it's like that.

Personally, I thought they'd go for 300 and then start something new. I get the reasons why they need to change what they are doing, but 275 seems quite arbitrary. I wonder if they will 'retain' a structure that keeps the numbering format and tinkers a bit with the MR under the surface...
Either way, they could still release the story details for what they have. Usually we have more info than at present - whilst synopses tell you so much, I have been inclined to re-subscribe more quickly if I like a particular run of stories.

The design of these covers just seem to be getting better and better don’t they? 🙂 All props to the artists.

Superb covers both and very enticing stories. Diplomatic Ice Warriors again then (I think, never really know which lot you're going to get until they turn up do you like the Peladon stories) and then 'Scorched Earth'.
[This is speculation based only on the title and the cover, but I'm guessing this is set in Germany right at the end of WWII when Hitler ordered a "scorched earth" policy rather than give up anything to the advancing Soviet and western Allied forces. Obviously a crashing German plane could be lots of places but I think the church spire is German/Austrian in style?
If it is set in Germany near the end of the war, I wonder if the title might be a play on words and the story might place a different emphasis on events? - because the aircraft overhead have Allied markings. (Though that's me speculating based on my own speculation, so I won't!)]
EDIT: So 'Scorched Earth is NOT a pure historical and is set in France near the end of the war. Trailer sounds great!

Wow that is a spectacular looking cover! I hope the artist puts up a textless version of that one.

Hmm... if this is set in Germany at the end of the war... is it too much to hope for a setting in the small town next to my home village? The SS was hiding out in the town church, shooting the arriving allies from the church towers (according to the above mentioned order from the Führer).
The population was scared- but some brave citizens marched up to the SS troops with spanners and pitchforks and managed to disarm them and chase them away.
So the citizens could hang some white bed sheets from the church towers and therefore stop more bloodshed and destruction.
Would be awesome hearing this story in BF! With Sixie no less.
And I REALLY hope for some better German accents. Although they did quite well in recent releases with hiring German speaking actors. BF does not really have the best track record with some of the accents they attempt....

I don’t know why but I was under the impression that Constance couldn’t go home now because she was legally dead in her time after the events of Static but obviously not as they’re aiming for Bletchley again in this trilogy.

Thanks for sharing that - including that sort of event would make a great story, what brave people! A good reminder that there were citizens caught up in "the Reich" who never wanted Nazi rule. (It's notable reading Churchill's speeches that he usually made that distinction by referring to 'Nazis', not 'Germans' - and of course he wanted free Germany back in the European family as quickly as possible after the war even though some in Europe objected.)

And it goes without saying that I'm looking forward very much to the return of Sixie with Constance and Flip! (Which is why I forgot to say it before! ) Great team and they've starred in some excellent trilogies - hope we're on our way to another.
