I almost forgot to say, Norton Folgate's back! Probably the best character Big Finish's introduced to Torchwood (although I reckon Colchester could take that title with more appearances). Yep, seeing that Norton is back was very exciting. I'd go as far to say that he's one of the best Torchwood characters full stop, not just out of the other BF creations. I was kinda worried that BF would put Norton on the backburner since we hadn't heard anything of him after Outbreak and that Samuel Barnett is in the new Dirk Gently series so is no doubt busy with that, so it's nice to see that he's returning. I'm hoping for a Torchwood monthly release focused around Norton at some point. |

This sounds very exciting. I wonder, if this really is some kind of ending of a chapter for Jack, that any reference to the Face of Boe will be made?

No mention that there is a new series of 6 single releases.
I took reading the radio times article to twig on that this was a new set of releases.
Mr Briggs and co, need to have a look at who's writing these and get it to be less ambiguous

It gives you 3 links to other releases that it could be part of before it makes it mentions that it's A single release. you then need to reach the end of the press release put two and two together to Realise that it is really the launch of the pre orders for what it is now calling torchwood monthly range (it's only monthly if it runs all year!) series 4. horrible marketing technique? Or just badly put together? I have made my views on sales and marketing before, there's a special circle of hell waiting for them  just be clear from the 1st sentence where to buy it, what range is it from before adding links to other stuff. as I said I read the 1st few lines and the last few lines, assumed it was from series 5 box set 3, it wasn't until I read the radio times article that it became clear that it was part of the "monthly" range. if you want me to buy it make it clear what it is from the start. But it's probably just old age and lazy eyes on my part. |

Two of the three links you mention are to the Torchwood homepage and you need to click on an extra link once there to get to the monthly range, where this is listed as the forthcoming release. And we don't know yet, the new monthly series may well follow on from Series 5. |

Given the cast list is bigger than most double-disc releases, and equal to some 4-disc boxsets, I presume many of these are brief cameos.
