"death not to get audio show" AND I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED ABOUT IT... (That's such an eye-catching thread title that I hesitate to suggest there's an 'e' missing, just after the second 't' ? EDIT: Corrected now, shame! ) (Discworld tribute, of course )

Death isn't happy. Not at all.

We don't see Jonathan Clements' name much anymore. Shame really, I rather enjoy his stuff. Everything from Sympathy for the Devil to Year Zero.

Hey, I didn't even eat the mousse... It took me a whole day to get that reference - my Python sensor was obviously as late as a parrot...

We don't see Jonathan Clements' name much anymore. He regularly does columns and articles in anime magazines (he is an anime fan and translator) he did a book "School Girl Milky Crisis " which I believe was a collection of articles he had written - including a short bit (originally published in Dreamwatch magazine) about the recording of one of the Strontium Dog stories -Down to Earth (listed in the index under "Chickenshit outfit, extraction from") (edited with reference to the book for more detail and accuracy)

I think I ultimately prefer the live action movies as far as adaptations go. Not necessarily because they're better than the anime or even the original manga, but because they understood the limitations of their runtime and trimmed the material and crafted an original ending to suit. That the anime is half faithful adaptation and half slapdash clipshow goes to show exactly where it failed and the movie duology succeeded. Of course since then we've had a third movie with L that was dumb as heck but at least a fun excuse to spend more time with the actor and then a completely batshit crazy sequel last year that really had no business existing so that weakens my point a little bit but, still...
I'll take a potato chip... and eat it! [exaggerated foley chewing noise]
