DOCTOR WHO - THE EARLY ADVENTURES » 4.4. THE WRECK OF THE WORLDLarge coverReleased December 2017SynopsisUndergoing repairs in deep space, the TARDIS is caught in a collision with the huge, decaying wreck of a starship. Looking forward to this one, and the writer has an awesome name. This whole set of stories is just plain irresistible. Two writers I've not heard and two I'm very familiar with. The story concepts are great as well, with so much to discover.

Why has Jessie Buckley's name disappeared from the cast list? It seems Judith Roddy is now playing her character.

Either there's an error in DWM or they've given something away {Spoiler} DWM cites this as featuring both the first and second DoctorsSPOILER

This was OK, it was very slowly paced though and a robot with one of most annoying vocal effects in a long time, which is a shame as the rest of the characters are quite good.

I like it. Feels strangely eerie, that voice. First episode is very Wheel in Space.

Now that I'm beyond episode 1, and the screaming robot, this is rather good. Coming up on the end of episode 2 here.

That was a great release! Very atmospheric, well scripted, well acted, excellent sound design, the whole shebang. This has, in general, been a rather good set of Early Adventures, I must say

A fine conclusion to a strong set of Second Doctor Adventures, SRandom(Zagreus) has summed it up perfectly, my only gripe was that annoying screeching sound the robot made, flipping 'eck turn it down sound department.
8/10

This has, in general, been a rather good set of Early Adventures, I must say Just finished it today. I was disappointed that the robot was the lone survivor and he seemed to be on his last legs as well. At least our TARDIS team got rid of the threat. If they had never appeared there, then presumably Lorne's world would have been taken over and it may have then spread from there. Overall, though, it was very atmospheric and well done.
