Loved it. A staunch celeberation of the era and Big Finish's expansion of it and is a Doctor Who creation which could only really be deployed to full effect in the dark and unknown universe. Loved the character momments, especially Zoe's and that ending - subtly, but painfully telegraphed - was heartbreaking.

That was a great release! Very atmospheric, well scripted, well acted, excellent sound design, the whole shebang. This has, in general, been a rather good set of Early Adventures, I must say Couldn’t say it better myself. Absolutely love these adventures

I didn't enjoy this at all. Not that there was anything wrong with the story, it's just that while I love Zoe and Jamie on TV there is something about Wendy Padbury as Zoe on audio that simply doesn't hold my attention, I find I constantly wander and have to keep hitting rewind. I first noticed it in The Rosemariners, I never got to the end because her voice just annoyed me.

Another relisten of this and still captured me as when I first listened . it’s a great story and a good threat and I am so taken with Frazier’s take on Patrick and I have to say hats off taking on the two roles so well.Wendy doesn’t age does she vocally .The Early adventures really captivated me and I know the next set is a long way off but I love delving back into what already exists and that’s all I ask for enjoyable tales well acted well scripted tightly directed and the narration in no way spoils my entertainment.I must say when Ben arrived I was really taken with Elliots portrayal too . Encourage any newer listeners to jump in to these and the First Doctors adventures there is nothing disappointing in them at all....strong writing keeps you listening and you will enjoy spending time with these characters

And did you relisten and change your view? I haven't had a chance to re-listen to it yet. Hopefully when it comes to 2021, I'll get to re-hear it and perhaps share a few updated thoughts on the story when reviewing 'The Isos Network'. Tim.
