Some chancer put his bag groceries on my car roof while he made room on back seat then was annoyed when i told him to remove his items off my roof.
Him. "There in plastic bags they won't scratch your roof"
My reply. "Move em off my roof or you'll be wearing em.
Him. "Why being aggressive"
Me. "I dunno maybe because some ignorant brat thinks he can put his bag groceries on my car roof while he prats about making room in the back seat when he should stick em in his boot".
Him. "Boots full of tools".
Me. "Nah not quite full there's one big tool it's missing".
I got out car counted to 3 at 2 he moved em but started moaning i was passive aggressive to which i replied blimey somewhere there a circus missing a clown.

Can we talk about the ebay sellers 'make Offer' button, who then have it auto-enabled so it rejects anything below the exact asking price? Then what's the damn point of 'offers', just sell for your own price!

Okay, everyone feel free to add to this list of people who CANNOT work from home, but who the people who keep bleating on about how 'everyone' should keep wfh totally rely on without apparently realising it. I had to walk away from the person holding forth on the subject - whilst waiting for somebody else to make him a coffee in a cafe (who was clearly not working from home, were they? )
And I'll start with the people who monitor and maintain the electricity generating sites - including wind turbines and solar panels. Then move on to the linesmen putting their lives on the line to get that electricity to us and the mobile phone towers when the lines come down in high winds etc... And the people at the water treatment plants making sure the drinking water is safe, and the brave souls clearing the fatburgs out of the drains... Then the people at the supermarket fulfilment depots putting together the online orders and the drivers bringing to our front doors... (well, not mine, but... )
ARGH!!!!

Having to help my niece buy a new printer as hers packed up because her parents too lazy to look.
The excuse. "Ask Uncle Simon he knows about this stuff".
Erm movies, video games, Doctor Who, Ps & X Box consoles yeah i don't do laptops or printers use a tablet.
Anyway after looking found a decent Epson for £60 & as she 21 on Sunday i brought it her.
I'm either losing my marbles or going soft.

Went to get diesel at my local filling station and had to wait because cars at every pump. Not in itself a problem as I don't mind if I have to wait, but what irked me was that the cars at the pumps were not actually getting fuel, they were just using it as a parking space. Needless to say the car park was full of empty spaces.
I notice this happening more often than you might think. Why do some people park at the pump when they are not getting fuel and there are plenty of empty car parking spaces in the car park? One day I will be in a hurry, running late and needing fuel quickly, and I will probably end up giving one of the pump parkers a piece of my mind.

Someone in my building strums the guitar nightly, loud enough for other tenants of the building to hear. I don't mind if it's during the day or early evening, but it gets to be ridiculous when it's late at night or as late as 2AM.

It astonishes and infuriates me that there are actually people who are so completely oblivious and obnoxious that they don’t even NOTICE everyone else staring daggers at them for having FaceTime conversations, on speakerphone, themselves essentially yelling their own side of the conversation, almost always completely mundane calls — in public places.
Put in headphones and use your inside voice, you absolute (curse word).

A minor but constant irritant: people and news agencies who preface their headline with BREAKING--no matter how long ago it happened. To me, it's only BREAKING news if it's happened in the last 15 minutes or so. Beyond that you're just grasping for attention, not engaging in responsible journalism.

As in, "news travels fast" etc . Very annoying.

It is 4:25 in the afternoon and I am on my thirteenth spoofed number dead air/robocall of the day so far.
The provincial election is in 8 days. Even odds that some incompetent f'ing intern at one of the party's call centres screwed up their computer program/machine and hasn't figured it out yet. I am starting to feel very, very stabby.

Doubtless I am jinxing myself - but I haven't had one call from the candidates. Granted, I also don't tend to answer the phone, but I don't have any missed calls either.

It's great to get over COVID, it really is, but the lingering 'brain fog' is an irritant. Here's an example, with a bit of whining thrown in:
I'm currently wide awake and knackered after four hours' sleep. Yesterday, I was given some new medication (Metformin, because I'm also diabetic), and I've forgotten the dosage my lovely nurse recommended. On the bus on the way back, I forgot to get off at my usual stop, and I've been living at my present address around twenty years.
The joys, etc.

As for brain fog i had that too post covid & if I'm honest i haven't felt 100% since i had covid in January 2021.
