Tomorrow can't come soon enough after having my appetite whetted by the previous two TV episodes.

It's so weird to see Big Finish cover revival series material. Even Torchwood hasn't really sunk in three months in.

I enjoyed that, very New Series. I only intended to listen to the first episode and before I knew it, I'd listened to all of it lol. I'll be listening again to catch the bits I missed, but very happy so far with how these are going . Altho' Jacqui is annoying Cheers Tony

I just finished this and thought it was a very exciting story. Kate got some development that they haven't had time for on her tv stories. Osgood is still Osgood.
Anyone else notice a cheeky nod at the chair scene from Terror of the Autons?

Anyone else notice a cheeky nod at the chair scene from Terror of the Autons? Osgood is fantastic. her vooce fairly bubbles on audio. Struggling to feel the love for Kate, I'm only 30 minutes in but her delivery just isn't bringing the character to life.

It would have been nice to learn some more about Osgood's background. There's that thread from Day of the Doctor about how her sister made her feel that I hope gets picked up at some point. The next box set might be a good place to introduce Gordy, Kate's son.

I really enjoyed this set - one of the things that for me made this better than a lot of other box sets was the decision to have the story carry through all four parts. I found this worked better than having individual episodes with a plot thread which eventually ties them all together. It was nice seeing a few nods to some of the tv episodes featuring the Autons. No if you'll excuse me, I'm going to be avoiding going past any stores with manikins.

She does feel a little dry as the story opens, but once the story intensity starts ramping up that all changes. By the third disc I had completely forgotten my reservations about her in the first disc. This was really, really good. The giant four-part story, the nods to the original UNIT, the epic scale of the Auton's attack, and that epic theme song! I loved the whole thing.

Loved it, tense atmospheric, solidly acted, the Autons were terrifying & well written, why haven't the Autons featured in more Doctor Who audios?
Again Big Finishes writers prove they can even write new Who characters than the tv series writer's, i found we got to know more about Kate & Osgood far more than we do on tv.
Highly recommended. 9/10

Pretty good...the last story was especially excellent.
However in future sets I wouldn't mind some individual adventures especially ones in where I would have a chance to get to know the other Unit Team members besides Osgood & Kate a bit more. They seem like interesting characters but I want to know more about them.

Great to realise just how adaptable the Nestenes are to our technology. 3D printers that produce Autons in every household, it's pretty scary. What next? Smartphone covers? Minions that really can kill you?

I will be finishing this later today. I have a question about Episode 3 - Bridgehead. In Bridgehead Josh sets up a virus taking instructions from Osgood to break the connection with the Nestenes. Osgood does the final bit somehow via the hologram projector. The connection is broken for a while. They convert Josh to try to fix the virus. It didn't seem to me that he knew enough to do that and especially not to do it so quickly. Anyone else feel the same way or have an explanation? Thanks.
