I did it as a round 2 with the first clue being Big Audio Dynamite... what's fourth? Bear in mind you've had a clue. So if I understand this sequence of four is Big Audio Dynamite Something Something Patsy Kensit !? Even with the answer I confess that I do not get the sequence... Ah - no. Patsy was the answer as they used it as a Round One. Haysi Fantayzee was the answer to my Round 2. I was going for bands whose members married Patsy Kensit in order - Big Audio Dynamite, Simple Minds, Oasis with Haysi Fantayzee as the answer. They just went for "Bands of Husbands of Patsy Kensit". When I posted it in an Only Connect Facebook group it got a great reaction from people involved in the show... and then sometime later their version appeared.

A very good start to 2018's Main Range releases. This is just pure enjoyment from start to finish.

It's so great to hear this TARDIS team again, and such a well balanced and wonderfully convoluted tale it seemed like too. (I think I quit trying to figure out what was coming next early on in the story). Really enjoyable! I was already very much looking forward to next month's adventure with this bunch, but quality of this story and the included trailer for Ghost Walk really have me psyched up now. :-)

I was sceptical going into this tale having not enjoyed much of The Fifth Doctor content over the last few years in comparison to the other doctors but this is a really fun story! It never falls flat and constantly keeps you on your toes. Highly recommend, very enjoyable

Kingdom of Lies is an utter farce... and it’s absolutely brilliant for it! Very good fun and it’s still great to hear this TARDIS crew together.
I was curious to see who Patsy Kensit was playing, and I did speculate some form of Madame Kovarian based entirely on Big Finish’s tease yesterday. Only because she and the Fifth Doctor are in the River Song set later this month. But it seems like The Scorpion could be a character to look out for, I bet she will pop up in other main range releases and beyond in the near future.

While I think the story is not as strong as the very high bar set by 5th doctor releases since the Adric box-set , it's still pretty funny and you can tell that the Peter and Sarah and Janet and Matthew are having fun. Worth the purchase price for the Adric line alone " Intelligent people only have one name Tegan Jovanka." Made me laugh out loud that one did 😂

As others have said, this is great fun. It is a million light years away from the style of The Fifth Doctor's television stories in that back then, they weren't really allowed any jokes or comedy. This has long since been rectified by Big Finish - just because Tom Baker often had a comedic approach to Doctor Who shouldn't, in my view, mean that Davison's era couldn't also allow humour. Apart from anything else, this TARDIS team are very good at it. For another, everyone seems to be having a great time. It's a commendable restraint that Patsy Kensit is kept back until late on in the story, and she's wonderful and really enters into the spirit of it all. Somewhat farcical, full of twists and turns, terrific performances and terrific writing. I wouldn't want every Doctor Who story to be like this, but once in a while, it's a fine adventure.
