Just finished listening to An Ordinary Life. It’s very mundane, but I guess that’s the purpose and it works well. The sort of 60’s gritty kitchen sink drama that Morrissey would pen a song about! I think the story suffers a little due to the Doctor’s long absence, though I’m not sure if that’s because I love this TARDIS team so I want to hear them together as much as possible.

I liked how Steven and Sara didn't understand the prejudice/racism and had to have it explained to them. It's nice to think that in the future such things would be rare/nonexistent.
Also loved the scene when they ate the fish and chips, talking about how bad it was for you, but really enjoying it anyway.

I didn't like the second half of this one as much because it goes standard alien route but I love the odd 'pure historical in then present day' vibe the first half has going on.
