Synopsis Doctor Who: Short Trips Monthly is a series of new short stories read by an original cast member. This special release is a Third Doctor story, and is offered as a free download via the Paul Spragg Short Trips Memorial Opportunity in 2017.

"Gentle" captures the tone beautifully. In terms of character development and plot placement, it's quietly subversive, and it raises some great questions about the Third Doctor's willingness to "interfere". The scene on the ocean is haunting. I've had it stuck in my head all day. Well done, Selim!
Also, Neil Gardner outdid himself with the sound design (it just IS an English seaside) and the score, which I think was all new, apart from the fight music.
