I saw that Shadow of War was 40% off and I decided to pick it up. They tried to upsell me before I checked out. "Wouldn't you rather buy the deluxe version of the game with more in-game currency?" It was really quite infuriating. Typical ain't it you buy a game only to be told nah buy this edition instead, my cousin completed it recently & says you don't need microtransactions as he found it more of a challenge upgrading manually.

Check out Angry Jo review on Battlefront 2 on you tube he certainly makes his opinion clear on loot boxes.

Actually I have to give Monolith/WB some credit on Shadow of War—before it even came out, they publicly announced that if you decline the online ToS, you can play the game without ever being prompted for ingame purchasing again.
