Eve Myles and Kai Owen are such brilliant actors, and they have a great chemistry together. Hearing them speaking Guy Adams funny and progressively more frightening dialogue is a true joy. This is perhaps a little like Torchwood's own (Doctor Who story) Midnight, but has more than enough identity of its own. A growing, unknown threat that continues to baffle the heroes, here enjoying an endless car journey. Perfect comic timing for the jokes and banter, and a genuinely creepy atmosphere throughout. Great, great stuff to listen to and, I mean really, can these Big Finish audios do no wrong?

I could have used a script. I found some of the dialog hard to understand. Still, enjoyed it. Very tense, with all the right interactions between the two characters.

I thought this one was a really good example of how to be absolutely chilling while being massively understated. Rhys freaking out and getting out the car followed by a panicing Gwen only for them to return to the car in silence was terrifying. Much like the end of The Blair Witch Project is "just" a guy staring at a wall, this was able to use small moments to build a real scarepiece.
Also shades of Locke, with the action all contained in the car and the events that have led to it only slowly unravelling.
Very strong story.
