A new keyboard, as my other one was a kid one that I got at short notice, and isn't really sufficient for the music I want to play.

Bloody Terror: The Shock Cinema Of Norman J Warren Another uber-deluxe edition of blurays from Indicator. Our very own Ben from the Hartnell/Troughton era, Michael Craze, stars in two of these (Satan's Slave and Terror) and he and Warren had actually set up a production company even before Mike was cast on Doctor Who so they were old friends. However these are NOT for the squeamish. They're hard 18s in places with the most bloody gore almost no money at all can buy Demons, aliens, lesbian witches, canniballs.....it's all the exploitation cinema of America - but made in the home counties. Very odd juxtaposition.

Since it was on sale on Steam this weekend- Steins Gate Elite.
I am NOT into Anime at all. But the premise sounds absolutely amazing- mad junior scientist invents time travel and accidentally threatens to bring about the end of the world. Full of ambiguous characters and grey/ grey moral choices. It got a lot of very good reviews who praise the amazing story and characters.
This sounds very interesting, even if it is in the package of an Anime Visual Novel. I have played a couple of visual novels before, so at least I am familiar with the format.

Two different but much anticipated blurays. Thom Zimmy's Elvis documentary is the definitive take on The King, well over 3 hours long and unlike 99% of Elvis projects doesn't pretend there's nothing after the Comeback Special and the early, triumphant Vegas shows. It's chockfull of footage too, not just talking heads spouting platitudes. Lust For A Vampire is the last of the Karnstein Hammer trilogy to come to bluray and we've been waiting a long, long time for it. While the film isn't Hammer's best it's a crucial jigsaw piece and does have one in a long line of great Ralph Bates roles (tied only with Andre Morrell for the title of Hammer's third man after Cushing and Lee)

My audible credits came through and while here in the US you can’t get the Harry Potter readings by Stephen Fry (ours are by the equally excellent Jim Dale) we do have his reading of the Sherlock Holmes canon which I picked up as well as the audiobook for Sanderson’s Words of Radiance with my monthly credits.
Also the audible originals of Treasure Island and The Conception of Terror, both of which have some great talent including Jonathan Barnes, Mark Morris, Pearl Mackie, and Catherine Tate

Because I loved the Alien/ Predator/ Prometheus comics so much- I got myself the action figure of the Predator Ahab from the comic stories. And he looks absolutely awesome (with a cape and an Engineer skull in his hands!) on my display shelf... And the figure is even larger than I expected... Fantastic display piece.

Criterion Collection Blu-Rays of Eraserhead and Blue Velvet. The postman was good to me today! Lovely packaging as always and I love the booklets these things come with.
Some directors make movies, Lynch photographs beautiful nightmares.

Just arrived from Network, for the first time anywhere in the world, Monty Python's Flying Circus on bluray, the complete series. Each set comes with 4 separate books on the show written by Andrew Pixley which, for anyone who knows his work, means they're definite and exhaustive. Can't wait to dig in. Enjoy apparently according to Paul Vanezis's Twitter at least 2 of the EPs haven't been seen in full since original Broadcast.

The postman brought me the new-ish 4K release of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It's a very snazzy package and comes with an envelope of postcards and a small booklet with behind the scenes photos, concept art, stills etc. I don't actually have a 4K television, so I won't be able to enjoy the HDR component of this, but it comes with a normal BluRay also and if/when I upgrade, I'll have the option. The price difference between 4K and just BluRay was literally a single penny, so why not?
I also scooped up BluRays of Kingsman and the Director's Cuts of both almost-Tarantinos: True Romance and Natural Born Killers

I've been meaning to pick up the Alien movies for ages now but I wanted to get copies that also included the extended cuts (particularly for Alien3 which, to my understanding, is only really good in the extended cut). The problem I was having was that none of the releases in Australia actually said anywhere on the packaging whether or not they had the extended cuts or not. I decided to bite the bullet today and bought a 6-film collection ( Alien - Alien: Resurrection, Prometheus, and Alien: Covenant) on Blu-Ray, and it looks like the gamble paid off! Not only are the extended cuts included, but I got the box set for an absolute steal at AU$26.50! I'm not normally a person who goes for comics, but I also recently purchased the tie-in comic for The Last of Us, American Dreams. I love the game so much that I'm prepared to get anything that expands on the story. I've very limited experience with comics (just a few Asterix ones when I was a kid) and I don't think I ever really "got" how they were supposed to work. I would read the dialogue without taking the time to look at the illustrations. Hopefully, now I'm a bit older and slightly more patient, I should be able to enjoy this Now I've just got to wait on the Amazon delivery...
