The Cushing movies are finally trickling out in the US on blu. Kino are putting out the first. Same special features as the UK but with a new commentary featuring not just the great Kim Newman but also Rob Shearman! That's reason alone for a double dip. May I ask where you're seeing these listed?

The inclusion of the 57-minute documentary - Dalekmania (not available on Region 2 Blu-ray disc) is also a nice bonus. It looks like Dalekmania is included on both of Cushing's DW Region 1 films. I had assumed it was, incorrectly. Thinking again, it was the DVD release from 2006: Proves it can be a bit rash to dispense with these things when upgrading (as if!).

(I previously edited my original post albeit in fine print.) Apologies for the knee-jerk incorrect information - the UK Blu-ray versions of Dr. Who and the Daleks does include Dalekmania!

Like me, if you only own this type of box set on DVD, perhaps this is another wake up call to upgrade to a Blu-ray version of it. The Region 1 offering of The Dalek Collection contains print-on-demand DVD-Rs - yuck!!! Even more reason to upgrade! The Region 2 version of The Dalek Collection (provided in your image) contains proper pressed DVDs. The Dr. Who Collection (Anchor Bay) Region 1 DVD is an earlier set of the same content that thankfully I own a copy of has commercial DVDs.

Just checked and that has Dalekmania etc on it also - a simple assumption myself that it may have been omitted. Generally though I keep the DVD/VHS versions of DW as I would not like to part with them after building complete sets over so long! The DVD does have a nice poster of DIOE with it though.

Ooh, you own a first release copy with also a trading card. It seems so! I did recall when posting that there was something else wrapped in cellophane apart from the poster. It will still be in the case. Nice to know, thanks, will have a look later.

Moffat posted a pic of his S12 set on Instagram saying he missed out first time round. When even he missed out you know that set was underproduced! The guy runs Who for years and years and doesn't even get a first edition!

Fury From The Deep, S20 and S14 would be my guesses.

Has anybody received their replacement copy yet? Well, apparently Amazon has decided they're not going to replace it anymore, and are refunding me instead. Time to speak to customer service, me thinks.

Long shot, does anyone have contact details for whatever subsidiary of the BBC is responsible for manufacturing these?

Some have gained two copies with replacements and one to 'dispose of as the see fit'. Chase up BBC for a replacement and be conscious of the fact that you have customer rights respective to a non satisfactory product. In the meantime, assuming you have not returned them, you have ownership of functional copies for viewing and display purposes (the box is fine) that you will not be deprived of. It will not likely devalue the product you have, as their rarity remains. Its just disconcerting that the BBC can be so cavalier with this. Quite a botched re-release all told.

My copy of season 26 finally arrived today! Unfortunately I have to let it sit for 3 days because I can’t spare any cleaning supplies for it

Long shot, does anyone have contact details for whatever subsidiary of the BBC is responsible for manufacturing these? last time there was a problem with one of the Bluray sets (it may have been 12 or 18 - or both?), I contacted dvdsupport@bbc.com. I didn't buy direct (I used Zavvi) but they sent replacement discs anyway - I attached proof of purchase to my email.
don't expect a response or acknowledgement (or any updates on when discs might be sent out) - if they come they will just show up in the post one way. At least that was my experience.

Looks like Season 14 has been delayed in Australia. It currently has no listed release date at the moment. Series 12 (New Series) has also been delayed from May to June it seems.
