Just passing through but I had to drop in on this thread and say - Season 14: what a superb set. (Very pleased to hear they intend to correct the 'shortfall' so more people can buy it.)
Best season ever imo and excellent restorations - the film sections of 'The Face of Evil' for example are eyecatching - great new extras (loving the 'Behind the Sofa's on this set) and the 5:1 soundtrack for 'The Deadly Assassin' lifts this already splendid story to new heights, especially imo in the final confrontation with the Master, helping that hard-to-make studio action sequence rise to the level of the rest.
I have only the magnificent 'Talons' to go now and I'm looking forward to the new effects - but I'm going for the full Magnus with relistens to 'The Butcher of Brisbane' and 'The Talents of Greel' first, before the curtain rises on the greatest Who story of all time... (well, I think so anyway. )

Boring question alert. How do you watch your Blu-Rays? I follow the pattern - watch the stories in order, then the commentaries, then the Behind the Sofa. Then dip into the various special features.

I watch them one disc at a time - story, then Behind the Sofa, then making-of (because I've probably seen it before on DVD), then everything else in the order listed. I haven't ever watched the commentaries. I'm sure I'll get around to it one day but I prefer being able to actually watch the story and hear what's going on

In story order, then just The Behind the Sofas, then the New Features Discs, on 1st viewing. Additional viewings, whatever order sometimes with Info Text enabled. Still not a fan of Audio commentaries on Films and TV shows. Regards mark687

But I don't think I've ever used the Info Text feature.

I am happy to see that a release has a commentary, but I cannot recall ever having listened to one. It would have been interesting if they could have had the Behind the Sofa feature as a visual commentary.

Boring question alert. How do you watch your Blu-Rays? Special features first, the new ones especially (including the excellent Behind the Sofa episodes of course), discs in order, then the stories randomly at later dates...

The Leisure Hive is really good, a great mix of chat about what's happening in the episode & career anecdotes. It seems obvious that Tom & Matthew Sweet enjoy each other's company.

Just received my confirmation emails that Season 14 bluray boxset is on it's way- it's official release date in Australia is next Tuesday 14th. This isn't the 2nd batch due to popular demand- the 1st time. I ordered 2 copies for my brother and myself , I really don't expect to see any in JB-Hifi.

Finally bought myself a Blu-Ray player. First Doctor Who purchase - my favourite series, Series 18. I am more than a little excited. Ridiculous considering it's forty years old this year!

It's a truly classic season and I've grown to like it more and more over the years.
The blu-ray set is superb, enjoy!

I will - I'd love to revisit the series in order, but time is, as usual, against me. From witnessing the second time The Doctor has missed the opening of the Brighton pavilion, to the end having been prepared for - this is unbeatable Who. To see it in pristine quality, and with the occasional new special effect, will be a treat (I wish they'd tidied up the climax to State of Decay, but you can't have everything).

Any of our friends down under pick up S14? Think it went on sale last week.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

We are definitely past due. Since the first of the classic series season sets was announced in March 2018, this is the longest we've gone between announcements of which season is next.
