Well, we still know what sets they've been working on from leaks both from people on Roobarbs and from actors tweeting about what they've done (Janet would never have made a spy) it seems likely S20 is next. Whether any COVID factors have changed the order of anything we obviously don't know. It's almost certainly the reason for the delay but S20 and then a Pertwee was the news from the guy on the Roobarbs forum who correctly "guessed" the order right up till S14 so I'd say he's got a track record worth believing. We also know some S17 material was banked with Lalla Ward (and potentially a bit of S16 too given her first role there) before she emigrated. I'm not sure that makes S17 more likely to be soon, just that it was prudent to bank material with her when it cost a train fare rather than travelling to the other side of the world.
And it goes without saying, I'd have thought, many of the people involved in classic Who are not just pensioners but have had health issues that meant they weren't/aren't just on lockdown but shielding so something like Behind The Sofa would be a no-no. As Warners are discovering with Tenet's release date slipping and slipping...it's best to wait till you can say what's actually going to happen than announce something that may not be deliverable on time leading to actively annoying your customer base, or worse releasing things with compromised quality. Would anyone want to swap a nice Matthew Sweet chat for a Zoom call?
These have sold gangbusters, far beyond expectations. As soon as it's practically possible they'll be back on the slate publicly. Certainly if you follow many of those involved in these and the animations work hasn't just stopped altogether, they're working on what can be worked on safely. We all want things ASAP but like just about every media right now, patience is key. There's still plenty of Who to come this year with BF's schedule, the multi-media Timelord Victorious, two animations in the Power Of The Daleks SE and Fury From The Deep and then the festive special. Other fandoms should be half as lucky.

Any of our friends down under pick up S14? Think it went on sale last week. I saw it in a couple of shops last week but haven’t purchased it yet. That's good that it made it's way out, there'll be plenty exporting it given the UK one has now sold out twice within days each time. For US collectors who have forgot with everything going on "Tom Baker Complete Season 3" *ahem* goes on sale on August 4th, so not long to wait there.

We are definitely past due. Since the first of the classic series season sets was announced in March 2018, this is the longest we've gone between announcements of which season is next. I wonder what global event might have thrown their release schedule off by more than a bit?

Probably a bad idea to come into this thread when I have Nintendo withdrawals.

Any of our friends down under pick up S14? Think it went on sale last week. I made to sure to pre-order a copy the moment I could after hearing what happened in the UK. I almost had to take it back though - it took 5 minutes (no exaggeration) to get The Masque of Mandragora out of the case. We nearly snapped the disc trying to get it out... Other than that it's a great set, especially for those of us who never bought the DVD special edition of The Robots of Death! I'm doing a group watch of Talons today with my siblings; the Blu-rays have been a great excuse for us to meet up and watch something we all enjoy

Do you all dig into the extras together as well? Are these still limited editions in Aus too? In that kinda digibook packaging?

We'll usually do the Behind the Sofa and the Making-Of, then it comes down to who's still got time to hang around/whether the others sound interesting (I'll always do the rest on my own later). We went through most of The Deadly Assassin and The Robots of Death together though. Yep, still limited edition and the digibook packaging. Sespite the change in packaging occurring back with Season 18 though, I don't think any two box sets are identical in presentation. There's always *something* slightly different about every single one

I would have thought Justin Bieber and Celine Dion were worse crimes. Though the worst thing Canada has given the world is the crap that Tim Hortons tries to pass off as coffee.

Except for S23 where it was clearly The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited. I still haven't found the courage to watch the new Lis Sladen documentary yet. This year has been a downer enough without seeing Tom in tears!

Any of our friends down under pick up S14? Think it went on sale last week. Yes.. I got my 2 copies. (my twin brother and for me) I haven't been able to watch any of it yet :-( A lifelong mate of mine pre ordered from EZYDVD, they were a big retail chain who basically shut down a few years ago and went "online only".. He hasn't got his- no notification no email/nothing. They are notorious for being more expen$ive and not delivering on time now.. Oh.. I also got a credit refund (actually 2 as I ordered 2). of AUS $24.98.. so AUS$49.96 went back into my credit card. They somehow overcharged us.!

And they make you pay, and pay, and pay..." Ahhh... I need to go back and rewatch some of Due South. My father and I are agreed that if I'm ever to be haunted, it'll be uncannily similar to how Frasier's dad first approached him.

I think the Season 14 re-release is today, so hopefully those that missed out have received their copy or its on the way. It’s a cracking set.
