Unconfirmed suggestions that the Season 8 Blu-Ray set is due for release on the 25th January... Fingers crossed as that's three weeks earlier than previously mooted.

Amazon now showing March 8th as release date All the other retailers are showing the same now. The release date was taken down a while ago now, so a delay was inevitable.

Season 8 (my favourite season of my favourite Doctor) to be followed by Season 24 (err, yes) - talk about "from the sublime to the ridiculous"!
This is going to prove the strength of my inner completionist after its severest test. I have no words (within forum limits) for what I thought of S24 in 1987, but I love these blu-ray sets and shall there forever be a gap on the shelves? Could this be the time that number13 finally discovers the true excellence of this season? (I did rediscover 'Love and Monsters' and really enjoyed it so nothing is impossible.)
But Season 24! The batty bats, the so un-ice-cool binbag gangs, Hi-de-ho-mygoodness, and the last one, which is the best one because it's the last one and has one brilliant special effect at least...
Sorry S24 fans, just my bit of fun. Of course I'm going to buy the dratted thing, even if I only watch the special features, admire the packaging and read the booklet I know it will be worth it for that alone. And maybe one day I'll be found wearing a panama hat, check trousers, white trainers and a pink top, rattling some spoons and SCREAMING at 100db as a convert to the best season of 'Doctor Who' EVER! These sets are that good, I cannot resist. I blame the influence of the Rani's brain thingy, whatever it was.

My favourite bit about the trailer was actually that they’d got Mark Halliley to do the voiceover, as he does in The Apprentice!
Patiently waiting for Zoom to have it up for pre-order. They’re surprisingly absent on the press release actually.
