I'm glad BF have been able to put together a proper send off with one last adventure for this lovely duo.

Actually, I'm not buying it yet, either. I'm more-than-half thinking of leaving it for a Christmas 2018 special. Partially because I want to leave it for a special occasion. I also wonder, why not hold it for December '18? May gives the usual 5-7 months between recording and release, but can't this extra-special set get an extra-special release date? Especially if the (presumably) December recording was not a coincidence for the same reason. (And I just quoted myself.)

First thing first, Lisa holding the picture of Trevor in the group shot got more than a few tears out of me. Funny thing that. Second, hurray for this release. I was hoping we would see something to wrap this most wonderful era of stories from Big Finish up. And how nice to see Paul Morris on the scripting duties. He ended up being one of the best writers for the range. It would be an instant pre-order for me at double the price. Thank you Big Finish.

Jago and Litefoot was always a premium range and this will be an unmissable release to complete their story as so many fans have longed for - and that in itself more than justifies the price IMO. Plus the large and all-star cast with yet more cast announcements promised.
And as a CD collector of J&L, the chance to own 'Revival' on BF CD to complete the range is a huge bonus. And I'm sure the interview tracks will be exceptional too.
The CD cost is £16.99. The value is priceless.

And kudos to mbt66 for this suggestion back in July: Jago & Co : The Litefoot InheritanceSo great minds do sometimes happen to come up with similar bright ideas - a coincidental confluence of coruscating cogitation! This isn't Jago & Co though it's still Jago & Litefoot, apaprantly we WILL hear Trevor/Litefoot in a posthumous role via previously unheard material, will this be a cameo or bigger? Though this sounds like wonderful closure/tribute to what could be Big Finish's most popular spin off

Did we ever ascertain whether or not Series 14 had been written?

In an email exchange with Ian, he was due to take over for series 14, I gather that his plans were certainly taking shape and he expressed sincere regret over Trevor passing and that his take on the series would never be heard.

to all who making noises about the money the price of £30 would still be a winner for me because of quality and many years of enjoyment we all had with both of them

Maybe a Bok could take shape a la “Blake’s 7”, using some of the scripts/ideas for the releases that were shelved when Gareth Thomas passed?

So excited this is being released. Yay big finish. And thank you for bringing Trevor in via the previously recorded material. I feel he would have found that a great kindness to fans and to his legacy.
I know this ties up the series proper, but please do keep Christopher Benjamin busy! I know I would love him in the occasional short trip.

I’m pleased to see David Richardson producing this. This series was his baby, and while it’s a shame we won’t see Ian’s take it’s nice to have David there at the end.

Let's hope not after the trouble the Doctor and the Brig. had with the last one taking shape even after it was blown up... " Chap with the wings there - five rounds, rapid." If the plans/scripts had reached a substantial stage, a series 14 audiobook would be a great idea - preferably read by Christopher Benjamin of course.

i don't want to sound like the xmas grump......but this is very expensive for what amounts to one story and a back patting doc. "Back-patting?" At this moment in time I am not buying........it’s annoyed me that there is not a download for just drama/doc it feels like cashing in on poor Trevor’s passing. "Cashing in on Trevor's passing...?" Have you ever considered not projecting your own cynicism onto others? The world might look a much brighter place.

A book of Holmesesque Jago & Litefoot short stories (now that BF have started publishing original fiction again) would be possibly the best thing BF have ever released.

Cynical maybe.....and the written word always makes you sound worse than it actually is. i love jago n light foot and have preordered everything since the start so I have no problem with the idea of a conclusion, in fact it’s a great idea.......but I am annoyed that I am being expected to pay twice for the short trip I have already bought! That’s what feels like cashing in nothing else. there is no reason that a £10 download option for the drama and doc could not have been set up for downloads. but we are all entitled to our opinion, label me a cynic that’s fine I understand I am questioning something that you care about. But 99% of the time I am BF biggest advocate, even when they make some stupid decisions and when I am wrong I am wrong and will hold my hands up.... but on this I do feel I have a point, it may only be a small point but I will stand by. It for now. but your extras and docs are self congratulatlatory and backslapping, with the endless lunch comments and brilliant writing quotes. its all good fun but they are never gritty and hard hitting but we love em all the same

BF aren't Panorama (is that still a thing?), nor are we expecting them to be. That doesn't make what we hear mere puff pieces.
