Thought we'd have had some Batman or Superman releases to coincide with Dawn Of Justice.

I have been thinking about trying GA for awhile. Leading up to Christmas I decided to buy the three Widdershins audios, but when I went to order they had suddenly disappeared from the website!?
Does anyone know why and if they might be back. I was enjoying the Pathfinder Legends audios and fancied something in a similar vein.

i just noticed there is a new marvel dr strange novel by devin grayson listen on amazon with a release date in october. as well as a daredevil coming out in july which still doesnt have cover art.
devin grayson used to write comics for dc i thought her gotham knights stuff was good her nightwing not so much
i know she did at least one novel for dc starring nightwing and aresenal
i think dr strange will do very well on audio. when i was a kid i had a spider man audio he was on he was really good and very spooky in that

I bought a Humble-Bundle suggested by "Accoustic Wolf"This consisted of graphic Audios "Demon Wars saga"1-7 This was my 1st listen to GA(where have I been all my life?)This prompted me to visit the site, where I purchased "The Shadow Saga"part 1 of a trilogy. There is a lot of good stuff there! And quite a variety of genres that cater for different tastes. Will certainly make further purchases in future.

so i finished the knight of the swords
first thing i have to say i forgot how batyouknowwhat crazy michael moorcock is! i had read his eternal champions in high school and loved them. it was really nice to revisit his wacky multiverse.
second thing i am going to say, when it comes to graphic audio, i dont expect much when it comes to acting. you brits have me spoiled. between big finish and what i have heard on bbc radio 4 , its all top notch even a list actors. but of the 6 or so graphic audios ive heard the acting has been so so to ok. and none of the actors names are even remotely familiar. so i didnt expect much from this one.
third thing i am going to say this is a short audio compared to the previous ones i have heard from them. only 5 cds long. but then i remembered moorcocks' books were pretty thin dating from a time before the mega fantasy series with nltra volumes of the likes of robert jordan and george rr martin. moorcock didnt need a huge tome to bring you into farflung fantasy world. his book covered a lot of ground in spite of being somewhat thin so does this audio
ok onto my revue
this one took my by surprise for several reasons. as stated above i did not expect much and it was good. with graphic audio im used to the guy who has narrated every previous audio ive heard from them. this one had a lady for some reason that felt off but she did just fine. another thing surprised me as how celtic they went in high school i never made the connection between the corum stories and irish folklore. some of the actors even used brogues. it threw for a bit. it started kind of slow till we get knee deep in moorcock's crazy magic and multiverse stuff, then the story and the cast start to shine. if you like moorcock i think you will like this audio. its short but satisfying. the main actor is ok there are a couple of clunky performances but 2 really really good ones.
i cant wait to lend this to my brother when i see him in a couple of weeks. he read the books with me.
to sum up i took a chance thinking it was going to be kind of bad but ended up really enjoying it and will get the rest of the series. i hope dorian hawkmoon and erekose are on the table as well, and that they do them before tackling elric if they can get that license
next up the beginning of brandon sanderson's the way of kings. talks about fantasy mega series and bug honking books here is one.

i finished the first audio of graphic audios the way of kings. i received the full audio book for brandon sanderson's the way of kings for christmas and LOVED/ great story with 2 excellent readers, they switched off depending on who's pov it was, that did terrific voices for the different characters . you never had any trouble knowing who, which character, was speaking. i enjoyed it so much i treated myself with book 2 and that was even better. there were a couple parts where i actually just stopped and sat in front of my cd player hanging on every word. so basically i'm a fan. i bought the graphic audio version just to see what they did with the material. simply out of curiocity
so how did GA do. not bad. i think comparisons between graphic audio and the audio book are inevitable. not just because they are tackling the same story in an audio format but graphic audio has so much narration say compared to a big finish full cast audio. so a lot of the time graphic audio's production was in fact an audio book. most of their version was narration. i think the audio book is better but graphic audio is pretty good too. i was surprised at how far this installment got into the story. im not sure how you feel about waiting for the next chapter but they did end this audio at fairly logical part.
overall id give it b-
