Some people don't like it when Sherlock meets other fictional characters. It isn't something that bothers me especially when (a) he meets up with someone as mighty as Count Dracula himself, and (b) when the story is as good as this is. A terrific release, and as eric009 says, is enhanced if you listen to (or are familiar with) Hound of the Baskervilles first. It is, however, still entirely possible to enjoy it without any prior knowledge. Or, put another way, it is impossible not to enjoy!

Main reason I put best after Hound of the Baskervilles is if you do not do know anything about at all(Hound of the Baskervilles), The Tangled Skein has lot of spoilers
