Alright. After reading that issue, now I honestly can’t wait for Masterful. Sounds terrific and exactly the sort of story I wanted from the meeting of all these malevolent minds.

I’m curious to see how Big Finish develop Dodo for their First Doctor range (she’s practically a blank slate after all in terms of a character as I keep harping on) but I’m still not keen on the idea of the Second Doctor doing Series 6B stuff. I really just don’t see the point when Big Finish have already addressed that in one of their plays.
I mean, if they wanted the Second Doctor to have new adventures outside of Jamie, Zoë and all the rest I’m sure you could write around it.

So according to Vortex Mail Nick Briggs said there will be a complete revamp of The First and Second Ranges in 2022 and there will be offical news coming next year Hopefully the news will be released sooner rather than later, because with the demise of The Early Adventures range and the latest Companion Chronicles release currently veering towards 'Jekyll and Hyde' status (the dreaded 'TBA') the first two eras of the Doctor are a little under served at the moment and could really use some of the tender loving care afforded the Third Doctor's time. Understandably the events of this year have played their part to slow things down with releases, but even so..as things stand... The Third Doctor in 2020 : three Short Trips, one volume of the Third Doctor Adventures and my illustrious Forum namesake dropping by the Monthly Adventures this month. The Third Doctor in 2021 : two volumes of the Third Doctor Adventures, The Brigadier popping up in Stranded 2 and Jo Jones appearing alongside The War Master in Killing Time. The First Doctor in 2020 : one Short Trip, one volume of the First Doctor Adventures and Susan's War. The First Doctor in 2021 : one volume of the First Doctor Adventures. The Second Doctor in 2020 : one Short Trip. The Second Doctor in 2021 : one volume of the Companion Chronicles. Hopefully. Fingers crossed. God willing. 🙏 Is it too much then to hope for an early Christmas present and an early announcement about the revamp?

Several of the cast members can't record remotely (Anneke Wills doesn't even have a home computer, I believe). Not a great deal they can do about that.

Interesting response from Nick about 4 Doctors/ 5 Companions in the letters section: " We made a commitment, to always associate these releases with their corresponding The Monthly Adventuressubscription. But when those subscriptions are no longer in operation, other options for releasing them will become available to us. We’ll be looking into the best course of action"
Also some interviews with DU forumers/Moderators . I was not aware of an Australian podcast..!

The way "Last Day" is in italics when they talk about upcoming releases after the Main Range ends make me think it is a title

Greatly enjoyed the article on Master! I really do hope the set is a success and Eric Roberts’s’ incarnation of the Master undergoes a sort of Renaissance when it comes to the opinion of the fan base.

Same I felt that within his 3 appearances he was often overshadowed by the other Masters so I hope it leads to more Boxsets I already got my preorder in

One of my favourite paragraphs from this latest issue is David Richardson's reply when asked if Master! could be the first of a series: "If it does well, I don't see why not ... I'd love that!" So would I, mate!
