This month’s Vortex Mail teases the return of Alex Macqueen and James Dreyfus’ Masters, more 9th, 10th and 11th Doctor Chronicles, further Class adventures and confirmation of Adam Adamant Lives (!) coming to Big Finish! Nick not ruling out War Doctor Chronicles in his response fills me with a little bit of hope!

"maybe more Survivors on day ... who knows?"
This vague quote from the feature on the series isn't quite as optimistic as the previous BF line that 'Survivors will continue, but in a different form'. Ah well, it was good while it lasted, and Series 9 sounds like it will be something memorable.

Issue 124 now online! www.bigfinish.com/vortex/v/124From Vortex Mail: No plans for any further Shakespeare releases, as sales weren’t that good, or for any stand-alone Narvin and Braxiatel box sets. There’s nothing to stop BF from holding auditions to find a voice actor to play Delgado’s Master alongside Tim Treloar. Constance will be returning alongside the Sixth Doctor after his adventures with Peri! BF have tried, but been unable, to get the rights for Campion with Peter Davison. Finally, the ideas of Krynoids in UNIT and Davros in the Time War are both something that BF would like to see - stay tuned!

I met Terry Molloy a couple months ago and he said he is definitely willing and able and would love to do more Big Finish.

Sad to see that the Early Adventures is down to two releases per year. (pg 3)

{Spoiler for Legacy of Time}Interesting that they don't mention that current Jo meeting the 3rd Doctor has already been done in Find and Replace

{Spoiler for Legacy of Time}Interesting that they don't mention that current Jo meeting the 3rd Doctor has already been done in Find and Replace I saw a quote from Katy (I think in this month’s DWM?) saying that the older Jo had only met the newer Doctors and not hers, and I thought then that they’d clearly forgotten about Find and Replace...

There's a really nice piece about Paul Darrow, which I thought was very well written. I'll miss his dry humour and his involvement with Big Finish a huge amount.
I also really enjoyed the piece about Transference. Budget and an overload of Doctor Who has lead me to order less from BF than I used to, but after reading the feature, I am so sorely tempted just to buy it, it's not true!

Apparently there an Inside Story/BF Companion style book in the works detailing the last 20 years.

It is true! Well, not the events of Transference, but it is a real release!
