I'm also curious to find out if these Big Finish Originals, of which I guess Cicero could also easily qualify, will all be download only series. We have your answer.

I would moan, but there really isn’t much point. It is their decision. At least it isn’t Doctor Who moving to download only.

A year ago...hell 6 months ago, I would have dismissed buying this completely because they were download only. The listening app really has changed my way of thinking on the subject to the point I think I'm going to purchase the bundle.

The listening app really has changed my way of thinking on the subject to the point I think I'm going to purchase the bundle. It's certanly made life a whole of a lot easier for us internatiomal customers faced with ever increasing postal costs, plus the 'per order' levy on overseas orders, so the BF App is definitely the way to go now. I actually think the app is one of the best things BF have come up wth in recent years. Not sure about these releases though, as being out of work now money is a bit tight so it's wait and see (hear) what they sound like in previews etc. before decidng if these are for me or not. I'm not against them though and they could well end up in my listening app at some stage.

And I just bought the bundle. I do think it is a huge bargain.

I’m very happy with what we’re getting this year. Two River Song sets, Eighth Doctor: Ravenous, a Master Short Trip, Gallifrey: Time War and I’m intrigued by the Tenth Doctor Chronicles. I think I’ll get the Fourth Doctor season now it’s in sets too.
As for a wish list, I think I’d like a new set of Tenth Doctor Adventures, a Missy box and a Simm Master set. I saw someone suggest a War Doctor Chronicles set earlier, comprising of Jacqueline Pearce, Louise Jameson, Clare Higgins and Ken Bones. I’d like that.

I wouldn't mind getting a Short Trip set during Mel's time with Glitz - a character piece of the comprimises and struggles of their relationship and Mel defining herself in the indifferent universe. The Doctor doesn't have to be involved in any 'real' capacity - just Mel looking back at their adventures through the here and now on her own adventure.

Well, I'd certainly like it if Ecclesstion, Smith, and/or Capaldi signed up but I'm guessing one never will and the other two may take some years.
Apart from that, I hope Tom is still enjoying himself and BF lets him keep on recording out...and out....and out.....and out....

I have my fingers crossed (metaphorically, if I actually had them crossed I wouldn’t be able to type) that we will get another PHP release before to much longer. Although having it in 2018 would make it a very heavy Fourth Doctor & Leela year, so perhaps a Fourth Doctor Comic Strip Presentation instead? Then perhaps PHP will be April or May 2019 seeing as series 8 is being released back to back in January & February of that year.

A Valeyard story or three without the Doctor. What does he do when he's not scheming to kill the Doctor? How would a genuinely evil Doctor impact the universe? Legends of Skaro... a delve into the big, empty parts of Skaro's history... the Doctor going back to meet the Thals, how the Thals abandoned the planet, something abstract, too... the Daleks dismissed as a scare story or a myth... I'd just like to go back into Skaro's history. An adaptation of Scratchman. An adaptation of Time and Relative for Christmas. A box set of movie Short Trips. Who doesn't want to hear Bernard Cribbins read them a story? Come on, it'd be like Jackanory but with added Dr Who. An REG box set. How about a Rowan Atkinson tale? Absolutely we need a trilogy or box set with Michael Jayston as the Doctor, this is something I've being hoping for for years. But as it hasn't happened yet, have you thought about pitching it yourself, Ian? Interesting, too, the Rowan Atkinson suggestion, because that was raised right at the very beginning on the "Talkin' 'bout my regeneration" CD. Mind you, they also said they didn't think it was worth doing the Lost Stories and that they didn't want to do classic monster-of-the-week stories, so I suppose it's nothing something to rely on....

Given that the story can't be released through commercially, I wonder if it extends to using the Atkinson Doctor... The Shalka set up had a lot of potential and I'd love to see Big Finish tap into that and given David Warner's Unbound Doctor's appearance in The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield, it seems the BBC's stance on Unbound Doctors might have lifted (although that might have been more to do with the revival being in it's early years and the adult content of some of the stories in the range).

I would like Dark Eyes 4 to go on sale at some point. I've waited too long to get that on special offer 😂

It's one of the things on my list that I actually have thought about and wondered how I'd set about doing, though I've never actually spoken to anybody at BF about it beyond mentioning it socially as an abstract thought. However there's a 2 page doc on that somewhere on my PC. Same for Legends of Skaro and the movie Short Trips. I'd love to hear more Michael Jayston. He's got a glorious voice. I actually enjoyed his turn on the radio as James Bond, too. I could listen to his voice for hours.
