I was baulking a bit about buying Transference due to the cost, but the news of Alex's casting has piqued my interest. Will be interesting to see what the day brings in terms of additional casting.

That 99 quid leap-in-the-dark I took a year ago gets better and better value all the time! *looks insufferably smug* (Sorry! ) Really though, it was the most speculative BF purchase I've ever done (same for most of us who bought the bundle I'd guess) and they have rewarded our confidence again and again. 'Transference' sounded very interesting a year ago when pretty much all we knew was 'thriller', the scale of the story and the writers... Now this is excellent news but I don't think I'll be reading too much further news about it. I'm in, and I enjoy being surprised by BF's great team as much as possible. Spoilers! (As Dr. Ross might possibly say, for some subconscious reason she can't quite put her professional finger on... )

Also Starring Warren Brown as Keith Wendy Craig as Sam's Mother Barbra and Robert Whitlock as Paul Keith's best friend
Sorry about the double only way to show them all

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

I hadn't pre-ordered Transference, mainly because there was no information about it. But this sounds fascinating. Very much looking forward to it. Likewise I haven't pre-ordered and I agree this sounds fascinating. But £34 for download only seems very steep. I am a CD buyer and, whilst I bought some other originals for £17, I like to have something physical to show for my money if I am going to spend £34. I get that it's 8 hours and will obviously cost BF more to produce ... but £34 is £34. It's nothing I can't live without and probably waiting until it goes on sale for £20 or less in a couple of years time will be the purchasing strategy I end up adopting.

I continue to believe that first bundle offering was something of a huge value and I’m glad I took the plunge. Alex Kingston leading the cast? Now I’m really interested.

Ok, so I'll be honest right out of the gate here. I thought that the cast was going to be nothing too exciting, for no actual reason, mind you, just a weird preconception. But, I'm blown away by this cast. Alex Kingston and Warren Brown are great in everything their in, and to see them starring, potentially against each other, excites me to no end. And as an aside, I've had a really weird feeling that Billie Piper is going to be in The Human Frontier, and no one is allowed to quote me on this unless I am right, in which case, I am the all being, all seeing reader of the future, and my skills can be bought for only the low, low price of a Big Finish Audio.

I don't know if you are right about Billie Piper but I do agree that they are probably trying to line up a big splashy name to headline it. And with Nick's project being last, I am sure they want to finish strong.

To paraphrase Nick Briggs from a Podcast last Year
"The Human Factor won't be till next year because my 1st choice cast won't have a time in their schedules where they can record all together until next year"
That's all we know for sure.

Cool, thanks for that. I didn't catch that before, so that's nice to know. This all adds to my theory...

I'm really looking forward to Transference. It's much more my kind of thing than Eve Miles' horror tale/freak show. LOL.
Agreed that the bundle was the way to go. So glad I took the plunge.

At this point, I'm also glad I got that early pre-order bundle. Has been worth the money.

So. Now they've all been released what do people think? A failed experiment or some worthwhile stories?
