I haven't read through all the synopses yet, but some of the titles are definitely eye-catching, not to mention the casts/writers/directors/etc. While I'm not sure I'm going to launch myself into this range immediately, I definitely feel it's something that I'll get into at some point (although, I plan to make a BIG purchase on Friday to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of my first Big Finish purchase, so if these are even more enticing on closer inspection, there's a good chance I may be picking them up very soon... ) I'm waiting to hear what your big purchase consists of

I'll be debating over getting these in it or not (it'll start pushing the price range a bit high), but my interest in these is steadily growing the more I think about it...

I hadn't considered it yet, but now you mention it... It is brilliant. Do give it a try (now I've ruined your best made shopping plans ) I have *very* vague memories of the first three chapters of Series 2, as we borrowed them from the library... 10 years ago? Something like that. And I thought they were fantastic then. I've just been hopeful there would be a sale on them... but you really have got me seriously considering adding them to the list... The thing is, if I do, AND I add these Originals, the order will have to lose some of its original contents, and I'm not sure I'm happy about that

Get everything, go strict on some other expense. That's what I try to do when I exceed my budget on something.

This is my first out of sale/pre-order purchase, so the prices are scary Besides, I spent WAAAAAAY too much money on Big Finish last year, so I'm going to try to pace myself for this first part of this year (he says, knowing it will never be true...)

That is...rather more than I’d expected to be spending before 7am on a Monday.
Hope they’re as good as their synopses sound!

Great news and am glad Big Finish are branching out, as being to reliant on Doctor Who make them vulnerable if their BBC licence ends at some point in the future.
Also don't think anybody else has mentioned all these Big Finish Originals appear to be 'download' only.

Also don't think anybody else has mentioned all these Big Finish Originals appear to be ' download' only. It's a sad necessity. Yes, Big Finish are taking a risk with these titles, but there still a very small company.

Bravo to BF for taking a risk, but funds are not unlimited and I think I'll await the reviews before buying and, even at that, I might wait for a sale.

Yes!
Transference is a disturbing crime thriller with a difference (concept by David Richardson written by John Dorney & Andrew Smith)
And its 8 hours in length.

I would consider at least buying one of the series. While the BBC and Big Finish have a great relationship, you never know what could happen in the future. (This isn't a knock on Chibnall, but potentially those above him. I'm sure there are many who a bit off-put that a non-BBC company is putting at a lot of Who in a form close to the TV series) Plus, Big Finish telling their own stories Consider it an investment
