A new page has been added to 'The Nyssa Challenge' on 'Bradley's Basement' called 'The Works of Sarah Sutton'. This page features non-related 'Doctor Who' works of Sarah Sutton's acting career such as 'The Moon Stallion' and 'Alice Through The Looking Glass'. My review on 'The Works of Sarah Sutton' will be the audiobook 'The Jarillion Mercy' with Sarah Sutton.
Winter for the adept - Not the best, Nyssa is written weird and there is lots of 'that piano is flying a cross the room' type dialogue.
Land of the dead - must better Nyssa characterisation, she's off doing her own thing, interesting monster idea.
Mutant Phase - Love this one. Nyssa and the Doctor both get annoyed when they fuss over each other, wonderful.
Thanks for your thoughts, batmanofni!
Yes 'The Land of the Dead' and 'The Mutant Phase' are pretty good with the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa. I like how Nyssa gets to be her own person in this audio stories and love how her relationship with the Doctor develops.
'Winter For The Adept' is a mixed bag for me! Sarah Sutton is wonderful in it, but Nyssa's characterization in it was pretty off-the-wall and didn't sound like her at all. I wish they could re-write Nyssa's dialogue so that it sounds more like her and less like Tegan.
