A quick search online and it's clear that Professor Cadbury was something of a pacifist..yet I can't help but wonder whether the slightest doubt or regret crept in when the concentration camps were liberated and exposed to the world over a decade later.. Thanks for sharing.

Despite bombing miserably, Catwoman was a hit on the home market, mostly because it was a lot cheaper to air than the Batman films.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

A friend of mine has had Type 2 since she was a teen, from memory. These days, she's graduated from a jet injector to walking around with an implant on her forearm that monitors her blood sugar levels and adjusts accordingly. Little patch of white square plastic, like an armband. Apparently, she barely notices it. She does quite well. The solution to use tablets instead sounds rather marvellous.

Totally true article: there’s more comedy about these days than there ever was before. And there’s always been “cancel culture” at work in it. In the late 80s, after it was referenced in Back To The Future, there was a push to do an remake/ reboot of The Honeymooners, the popular 50s sitcom that was the template for The Flintstones. It was still being repeated and referenced and very fondly remembered. Some really big names were expressing interest in it… and then people watched it again and nearly every episode one character would threaten to punch his wife because she had pointed out something stupid that he’d done. So it very quickly drifted off everybody’s radar. It’s still out there but it doesn’t have the cultural clout that it used to. But as Ricky Gervais said (I’m paraphrasing) in an article recently, you can still do whatever jokes you like. Whether the audience chooses to laugh at you is totally up to them, though. People can complain about “cancel culture” but society changes and our sense of humour changes with it.

That Idris Elba will be playing Knuckles the Echidna in the sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
Pretty good although rather predictable casting.

That Theatre of Blood was adapted for the stage in 2005 and starring none other than (strangely enough) Jim Broadbent in the role.
To be honest, while it works on film I think it would come across as slightly too self indulgent for the stage. But a video of it does exist online so I might give it a look sometime.
