That Bela Lugosi served as the model for Chernabog in Disney’s Fantasia.

Just found out who cast for the upcoming Mario movie will be.
Honestly, there’s nothing I can add to it that hasn’t already been said.

That the Garbage Pail Kids no less have a series of audio dramas on Audible.
Actually tempted to give these a look just because I’m still amazed they exist.

That bibliomancy is the art of divining the future from books.
Certainly explains how nothing ever seemed to unsettle my old English teacher.

Today (or at least this week) I learned that I did not, in fact, totally forget how to read sheet music. It's like riding a bike. Or at least I think it is--I haven't actually ridden a bike in a very long time, and probably never will again for safety reasons. (I have full mobility usually but have "episodes" at random that destroy my balance, so I often have to hobble around on a cane.....)
I've started teaching myself how to play piano (bought a cheap digital keyboard and everything) and have been having a lot of fun. It's like when I learned IPA--it just tickles my stupid ASD brain in all the right ways. I've always been pretty clumsy and uncoordinated, so I imagine I'll hit a wall soon, but for now I'm having a blast.

The American film industry requires people that work for a union to do certain jobs. That’s why a lot of American filmmakers moved to Britain.

This morning I learned that fraudsters can target even the most careful and tech-savvy of us all. But they didn't get away with it. I don't know how or where they got my bank card details, but the notification of an unusual transaction popped up on the app this morning, it was clearly well outside my usual spending habits and also for a lot more than is in my current account anyway! New bank card on its way to me and fraudster not getting whatever it was they were trying to buy with my money - looks like an online grocery order to me. Ha!

Panko bread is baked with electrical currents, meaning it gets no crust when cooked.

I also learned from this about the Luhn Algorithm (not to be confused with Kuhn's Algorithm) which means you can't just get one digit wrong in a credit/debit 16 digit number and still come up with a valid one. Very interesting. I knew about bank account numbers and their mathematical checks (my bank uses Mod11) already so it was nice to have the international cards confirmed.

The date that Village of the Angels takes place is different depending on the trailer. The date in the (now deleted) online version of the Next Time trailer is '28 November 1967', while the TV version of the Next Time trailer, it's '21st November 1967'

The Vesper Martini from Casino Royale (which you'd make with Cocchi Americano since Kinet Lillet is defunct) is drastically improved with orange bitters.

So does today's news imply that Nick Briggs is an anti-vaxxer or is the vaccine rollout in the U.K. really so bad that he could someone make it all the way to November 2021 without getting the shot unintentionally? Not really sure where to talk about this, so... here will do, I guess.
