Well, sure - it's a Big Finish Original and I'm sure they're proud of it and want it to succeed. Might just be me but seems like so far the fanfare for this one has actually been a bit subdued compared to that for ATA Girl? ATA Girl was the first one they put out there. It also was probably a bit of a harder sell than this, which has an immediately recognisable cast, Nigel Planer writing it and has the same sort of concept as Doctor Who.

If 'Jeremiah Bourne' is even half as good as 'ATA Girl' (and 'Cicero' too for me) it'll be excellent. I bought the bundle on announcement day and so far it has been a real bargain. Two superb, totally different costume dramas inviting the listener to put themselves in very different times and lives; 10 hours of gripping drama.
JB may be a bit more 'typical' territory for BF audiences and a lot quirkier, but again I'm looking forward to it.

If Douglas Adams had tried writing in the style of Catherine Cookson he may've produced something similar,
Its very British Humour.
Pacing and Performance are varied.
I think this one of those releases whose effectiveness is solely down to the individual listener to gauge.

I agree about the trailer itself, but it hasn't but me off of this as I don't think the trailer has actually given me anything to judge, just a bunch of lines put together. But to each their own of course.

Do we really make or don't make purchases based off of audio trailers?

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Do we really make or don't make purchases based off of audio trailers? If we did I wouldn't be buying much Big Finish: a lot of their trailers baffle me so I tend to rely more on the cast and writer and reviews... or how much I want a particular release.

Do we really make or don't make purchases based off of audio trailers? I will say in this case the Trailer won't help anyone on the fence about this release.
If you like Hitchhiker's Guide / Monty Python meets Period Drama, give this a try.

I really enjoyed that!! Mysterious, suspenseful, clever, charming, and full of surprises. Definitely something I'd like to hear more of!

Not sure I get the Douglas Adams or British humour.......I didn’t think it was funny at all more comedy drama for me......
But it’s an ok romp, a million times better than the ata girl which I hated.......
It reminded me of something from kids tv in the 70’s, which is a good thing.
Defiantly worth getting, but not sure if it will be on the top of anyone’s favourites list, but I enjoyed it a lot.
8/10

This is the first Original I've listened to.
I struggled at with episode 1 (and some of 2), because there was lots of Jeremiah describing what he sees (saw?) (in the dialogue, not just the narration). I was also having to get used to the premise of the range: that they are not based on an existing property ... are not based on a TV series (or book, in the case of the Classics). Having to get used to an entirely new show that started on audio.
By episode 3, though, I was enjoying it. That's the best word I can use to describe it. Enjoyed it. Not blown away by it. I may pick up Series 2, but it'll be near the bottom of my "to order" list.
