Hello again. Happy Doctor Who Day to all who frequent the Divergent Universe. I seems very necessary to celebrate this year. The Doctor Who Lockdowns helped a lot of fans and non-fans bringing us together with the creatives who made the show since 2005. I'm enjoying the work created by fans in this lockdown. I watched a lost of Classic Who in the summer on a free Britbox trial, while things were not going well for our family. Watching some stories and whole seasons I had not seen in their entirety, really helped being my stress levels down. What I love about Doctor Who is its flexibility that was built into its DNA by its talented creative team. Creativity that has seen Doctor Who conquer meny dofferent formats. I also think that Big Finish audios really have added greatly to our enjoyment of the Doctor Who universe. They had a vision and pursued it when Doctor Who was in the wilderness. As to what I'm going to watch in my own personal celebration, well I shall have a think and get back to you! Hope you all enjoy your celebratory watches and/or listens.
EDIT: In 1982, I settled down to see my first Fifth Doctor story. I had seen the previous Doctors in the Five Faces of Doctor Who season, and so was excited to see Peter Davison's first story Castrovalva. So, 38 years or so since I first saw it, i'm watching it again. Big Finish listen can only be one story: Light at the End, which I thoroughly enjoyed was a super anniversary story for the Classic series Doctors.

I liked her resurrection but not her being paired off with the cruel and not very deserving (the character) ME/Ashidir, but to be fair the only ending that would have satisfied me is 12 and Clara walking off into the sunset together. I do think Hell Bent is a highly underrated episode though. I see your perspective on the episode though too, she did come and go quite a bit.

Well letโs be honest we would have had no WHO unless they killed her off again as On Her Majestyโs service style lol.... I never really got why he loved her more than any other companion...you just like your romance ๐

Well until that girl from Leadworth grew up Regards mark687 No Adric is worse. I was so happy when he died. Oh I was saddened must admit...was a brave move to do to a character and however he felt about it at the time it actually elevated his status as a companion that met a sticky end. I really enjoy hearing him now on the audios and he is great in Dark Shadows. Was a bit cruel I think if my recollection of events is true that he was the last to know
