One thing I'm wondering, might the UNIT characters be anatagonists? An art thief with alien technology certainly seems something UNIT might take issue with,

I can’t speak for everyone, but I think what would have appealed more to me is an anthology set with a New Earth tale, a Jenny story and a Christina adventure. I’ve slight interest in delving a little into these worlds, but not enough to buy their respective sets (though I have bought New Earth since) on the whole, and certainly not enough to buy into a potential range.

And it’s more characterisation to work with than with Jenny. The Doctor's Daughter was Jenny at the beginning of her journey - and I'd argue she's already quite the developed character. She's just as showy, arrogant and pompous as The Doctor is and her empathy and compassion was channelled into protecting her people. She's more practical then The Doctor is, but also more naïve and there's a tension there and unlike The Doctor - she has to actually LIVE in the universe and she's going to have to wrestle with that and The Doctor's idealism.

That's like Amy at the start of Graceless. Her main character arc in the first series is giving in to the temptation of power over others and trying to redeem herself after being horrified by her actions (her attempt at redemption continues in series 2 and 3).

There VERY distinct characters. Jenny's had to wrestle with her own darkness quite early on, Amy was unprepared for it. Apples and oranges and you can break down anything into an archtype journey.

Graceless also has Zara battling her own demons, a victim of her she once saw herself as Amy, or rather Abbey, also falls to. The moral ambiguity both of them face eliminate the more conventional good sister bad sister thing they had in Key 2 Time.

I have been well-impressed overall with Nu-Who spin-offs, produced by BF. Unit,TDORSong,The Churchill years,The War Doctor, The War Master,Tales of New Earth (Which a lot of people were sceptical about) So I am pretty sure that"Lady Christina De Souza" will also prove to be another sure-Fire hit!!! And just to point out that I have only watched a handful of Nu-Who episodes!! But its on my pre-order list

I don’t think it’s worth debating too much over the different female adventuress characters that Big Finish have. The likes of Jenny, Christina, Vienna, etc. are all of a similar ilk, or rather a variation of a theme, so all it boils down to is how much you enjoy the actors and their portrayals of their characters.

You can kind of say that regardless of gender, though.

Not gonna lie, I would have preferred if she was in the Tenth Doctor Adventures. That’s assuming the alternative would have been Rose, rather than Donna or Martha. However I’ll probably give this a go, I’m just a bit underwhelmed by the use of the Slitheen, Sontarans and Sylvia. Can’t wait for more Jacqui McGee though.

Monster involvement is only based a cover I'm pretty sure is Fan made.

The BF news story says the Slitheen are in it. And the cover isn't fanmade, or what's it doing uploaded to the BF website? It's a rough version, at the very least. Using the Slitheen with Christina is actually a really clever idea - they're both from families obsessed with money.

Sorry yes you are correct the Slitheen are mentioned but I'm still not sure about the cover.

Doesn't matter if the cover isn't accessible through the public side of the website, the domain it is uploaded to is Big Finish's. It might not be the final art, but it definitely is Big Finish's.
