Given Nick's evident enthusiasm for the property, it'd take sales to tank for the range to be cancelled.

Excellent news (sure I've heard him mention plans in a podcast before, but that is different to getting the go ahead).

As long as he doesn't go overboard with bringing it up like he did when the range was first released, I'll maintain my indifference. People can like it or not like it, I have no strong feelings one way or the other. Like the Neutrals in Futurama.

I'm very pleased to hear it is definitely continuing, it's a great series. With its TBC released date, it can join its stablemate Jekyll and Hyde. I wonder which one we'll get first?

Since Jekyll and Hyde has had a product page for a few years now, that should either have higher priority or the page taken down until there's actually something Nick has done towards the audio version.

If it's been available to buy, I don't think they can just take the page down (unless they offer refunds).

Agreed! I do think the page should be taken down and monies refunded. Put it back up for offer when it is recorded. Anyway, The Prisoner v.3....Yasssss!

I really do love what Nick has done with the series but I would also like for Big Finish to get to a point where Nick brings in some other writers to play in that particular sandbox. Or to even see Big Finish expand the world a little bit.

It's great to hear he's committed to all the other subsequent projects that have been revealed, but the Jekyll and Hyde situation has been/is being appallingly handled.

It's the project Nick sounded like he completely forgot about on a podcast. I don't want to be too much of 'a grumbler', but it was the nonchalance about it that irked me. 'Maybe we'll release it next year ... or the year after, ha ha ha,' (mis-quoted I'm sure) is more than a poke in the eye for people who have pre-ordered it. It seems to be slated for December this year. I wonder ...

I'd be surprised if we saw it this year.

Since I don't have a lookup table handy, how many of the television episodes have been adapted so far? And how many do we have left to go?

Since I don't have a lookup table handy, how many of the television episodes have been adapted so far? And how many do we have left to go? There have been two box sets at 8 episodes per set and 1 installment has been a Briggs original. There were 17 episodes of The Prisoner produced, so Nick has adapted 6 of them thus far.

To be even more specific, the fates of each of the 17 TV episodes:
Arrival - adapted, as "Departure and Arrival" The Chimes of Big Ben - adapted A. B. and C. - adapted extremely loosely, as "Project Six" Free for All - is one of the stories in Volume 3, although the faithfulness of the adaptation is as yet uncertain The Schizoid Man - adapted The General - not adapted Many Happy Returns - adapted very loosely, as "I Met a Man Today" Dance of the Dead - not adapted Checkmate - not adapted Hammer Into Anvil - adapted, but extremely different from the original episode It's Your Funeral - not adapted A Change of Mind - not adapted Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling - not adapted Living in Harmony - not adapted; the Big Finish episode with this title was a different story altogether The Girl Who Was Death - not adapted (unlikely to be, perhaps?) Once Upon a Time - not adapted Fall Out - not adapted, although the revelation of Number One's identity was used in Vol 2
