It may be a small pond, but it's an impressively big fi(nis)sh. Hang on, is that *exactly* what they mean?

In a review of a repeat of a Wally K Daly programme on Radio 4 Extra, the new Radio Times talks about "The Ultimate Evil" being made at last (but doesn't mention BF, alas)

How do you write an email suggesting ideas for audio dramas I.e. a franchise? Yeah I’ve been told never to do that as big finish will not accept unsolicited ideas or anything and would go out of the way to avoid doing it

There was an "incident" many years ago where someone claimed a story was "borrowed" from their synopsis they sent to BF direct from what was told on the previous forum.

Williamdfan could, of course, mean suggest a pre-existing property he would like to see handled. There's no harm in that.

Williamdfan could, of course, mean suggest a pre-existing property he would like to see handled. There's no harm in that. Yes- he could be, however unfortunately on the BF site it says :
"Can I send my story idea/script to Big Finish?
We are very sorry but Big Finish is not currently able to accept any unsolicited scripts, storylines or pitches for any of our ranges.
Please do not send these to us, as they will be deleted/discarded without being read.
From time to time we may invite submissions as part of a story competition, which will be announced in our news section, via social media on Facebook and Twitter, and in the Big Finish Podcast. "

I wasn’t planning on sending in a script, just a suggestion for a pre-existing franchise that they could produce audios for.

Ummm...You are talking about something completely different. Not sure where you get that from reading my post. If I email BF and say "Hey, I'd love you guys to do Persuaders audios!" - none of that applies. William said "franchise", which straight away suggested to me he meant doing just that, not proposing he write it, just a range he'd like to see. And he's' now clarified that's the case.

How do you write an email suggesting ideas for audio dramas I.e. a franchise? Just keep a look out on Twitter, they often posting “what would else would you like to see” tagged to an old shows pictures…,,, best way to actually get it read or send to podcast….. but keep to titles etc. No plot ideas, meet ups etc keep them for competitions when they come around.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this question, but this seems to be the closest we have to a DWM thread.
Has the DWM comic strip stopped? There hasn't been one for the last couple of issues.
