I recall way back when that the late Stephen Gately appearing in one of the Eight/Lucie stories caused some annoyance in Cardiff because it generated a number of headlines that didn't qualify it was for a radio thing and not the TV show. Not BF's fault, obviously, and I would guess that these days BF have a higher profile because of the 10DAs so more people see "David Tennant and Alex Kingston are returning to Doctor Who" and assume "oh, that'll be for the audiobooks then".

I don't think it's something that can be helped. Big Finish say The Tenth Doctor & River Song are reuniting for a set, which is accurate and it's for one of their products. The tabloids and other news sites take that headline and the details of their announcement, but it's taken out of context without it coming from BF. But that's their goal, they're shallow articles designed for site views, and therefore revenues.
If that gets extra customers for Big Finish, then great. If people read the article and tut because it's an audio, then there's no big loss; those people weren't ever going to buy in the first place.

That's almost insulting LOL. And yet another headline that doesn't make clear it's an audio series, leading to disappointed casual fans and their patented "Why is it just audio?" reaction.

Both of DWM’s Big Finish reviews are of products that haven’t actually been released yet: Time Apart and The Robots 2. Bit odd as DWM’s reviews don’t usually come before release.

Cool article. Wonder what franchise JHE's zoom meeting was about Yes, interesting that. It's a television something JHE's been trying to get for fifteen years. So, what ranges were around fifteen years (or slightly less) ago, that might give an idea as to what sort of area of content it might be in. And it's obviously not a biiiiig property if the rights owners are being both very careful with permissions and not particularly worried about monies.

Unless we’re about to get a revival of Ace of Wands, the Vic and Bob version of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) or The Champions.
