My money is on Doomwatch personally. Unless we’re about to get a revival of Ace of Wands, the Vic and Bob version of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) or The Champions. I can't see Doomwatch selling. If they can't sell Counter-Measures enough to warrant continuing with it, and that was essentially DW-Does-Doomwatch, can they sell Doomwatch itself to DW fans? The other three suggestions are all quite likely (albeit I don't think R&HD would be one with Vic and Bob in it now). There are some good ones circa 2005! Like Battlestar Galactica, The X-files (which would be my wish), Lost, the remake of V.. You misunderstand. It won't be *anything* that was in production fifteen years ago, because there would have been no point in BF trying to get the rights. Ask yourself what BF was making circa 2005-2007, and then what tv shows could be revived and sold to the audience. So, it won't be Callanesque because BF didn't do that kind of thing back then. It will be something where the original cast were available then if not now, because BF weren't doing Prisoner/Space1999/AdamAdamant up-from-the-ground remakes back then. Certainly won't be The X-Files (Audible have done that recently) or BSG (that second remake is still supposed to be happening). Hmm... if it's only approximately fifteen years ago, then it could be "Quatermass" (Nigel Kneale died late 2006). It's JHE not Nick, so we can rule out "Catweazle".

I can see what you mean though! I agree with you I don't think Doomwatch would sell, though if they updated it to the present day, and got some really scientifically literate writers on it, I'd definitely be tempted to give it a go.

Nick has said on the podcast he would love to do Doomwatch but there wasn't a market. I'd love the missing episodes on audio, but it's extrememly unlikely.
Quatermass strikes me as the most plausible of those mentioned so far but that's not really based on anything

Quatermass would be a good shout. And it has enough clout that I’d imagine it would sell. (The cult radio comedy Nebulous was practically based on it after all) Not sure I’d want a modern day revival though, I’d prefer it to be mainly a period piece set in the ‘50s and the like. Again though this is all just speculation on our part. For all we know they’re trying to obtain the license to The Sweeny or something.

The reality of this isn't what I was expecting at all, but it's a lovely little tale of something that only Doctor Who would dig up 40+ years later!

Apparently I read somewhere that there are discounts on the novel adaptations aswell? According to Big Finish there are, yeah. It’s not advertised on the front cover of DWM, though, unlike Farewell Great Macedon.

I was just watching an episode of Shetland tonight and noticed Mark Bonner's name in the credits and then into my head went "that guy's The Eleven." I then got a shudder when I saw his character appear on the screen.

specific Big Finish sections of Dwm 557 News - the War Doctor Begins letters - praise for Out of Time 1 reviews - Benny 6 lost in translation & short trips Her own Bootstraps, and These Stolen Hours previews - 10 & River, Wicked Sisters and Blue Boxes
the latest issue of Infinity (30) includes a feature on Star Cops mentioning that Big Finish has "announced a new range of Star Cops audio plays" - I'm guessing the article was written a while ago and not updated as they are very aware that the audios are out (they start the article with the cover picture from Mars 2) If any one is interested , the other articles concern Jon Pertwee as the Doctor, 1990, Department S, Will Hay, Gene Rodddenberry's pilots and a rather obscure Gerry Anderson project...(one I hadn't heard of...)
