Was kind of hoping for Eighth Doctor to meet this UNIT team with Alex MacQueen's Master. The scientific advisor can call the Master a "bumder" before he's TCEd.

Oh God, they've actually made the eighties Cybermen voices WORK. I don't know if this how David Banks and Mark Hardy wanted to play all along, but I love their performances here. Very intrested in how Big Finish are going to expand upon Last of the Cybermen here, as well.

Adjective of the Noun is a very common story title format.

It's been a long time since I listened to it, but it established why later incarnations of the Cybermen were more emotional then their preddesscors.

After having had no new Cybermen stories since "The Isos Network" in January 2016, we're having a veritable spate of them: the Third Doctor, the Sixth Doctor and UNIT all meeting different designs!

BF will become like us...If the others are as good as 'The Tyrants of Logic', I'm all for it! And the War Master in there too, can't wait for that.

One of the main reasons why I am so excited about Hour of the Cybermen is not only because of the villains and which cast/crew are involved; it's also getting released on the same month as my birthday.

I just realized that this was the 80's Cybermen. Finally! The long awaited return of a fan favorite.

At the start of the (May 3rd) article: "Doctor Who News can today reveal that Big Finish are bringing back the 1980s Cybermen ..." OK I do understand that there are official announcements but it's one reason I love our forum - DU: Today's News, Weeks Ago.

Oooooh, that cover is lovely. Lee Johnson is quickly becoming one of my favourite BF cover artists!

Well, that's an improvement!
I really do love the new look for the covers - more cinematic, Doctor Who as we all imagined it to be, showcasing the possibilities of audio beyond the releams of even the revival. Six given proper justice to those not in the know. Still don't feel it quite the look for outside of the website and into shops, but that really is out of Big Finish's hands.

The emotion bubbling and conflict within, it just makes these versions more chilling and distinct.
