Casting the Runes m.youtube.com/watch?v=MIeT0aBb6K0&t=998sWell, listening would be more apt. This is of course an adaptation of the M.R. James short story. Quite solid and very commendable for a company’s first foray into the audio drama format. I’d also recommend checking out their channel as well as they have some very impressive examples of puppetry on there.

m.youtube.com/c/DarkCornersReviewsPlusChannels which review horror films and classic films are ten a penny these days but I really like the approach of this one. Has a lot of detailed retrospectives as well. I’d heavily recommend their one on Lon Chaney myself.

There's this nice video featuring Elisabeth Sladen and Sarah Sutton in a convention video. Hope to watch it in full later on.

Different video service, but let's not split hairs - in honour of Sanjeev Bhaskar being cast as Borusa, here's him doing 'The Big Read' years ago - first introducing "The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy", then featuring in a mini-adaptation as Arthur Dent. Hm... 'Dear Big Finish...'

YES! Just yes...! Been a fan of the 'Snake since the mid 80's when they were real English bluesy, before they got Americanised and changed their sound. The amount of musical talent in every lineup is insane..!

I would say this set, which ends in 1982 is kinda the end of the blues rock era. The mid-80s MAYBE saw the last Whitesnake bluesy album with Slide It In, but even that is kinda up for debate as Moody was removed for the US version and the album remixed and John Sykes added to make the album more metal and glam and Jon Lord taken wayyyy down in the mix. The UK one was Sykes-less (and the Aussie one used the UK version) so yeah, I think you had one LP as a blues rock band if you came in then before, as you say, they altered to break America. And it worked. I still really like the "hair metal" Snakes - Sykes is an elusive genius and even Steve Vai joined for Slip Of The Tongue. You shoud check out the boxsets of Slide It In, 1987, Slip Of The Tongue and Restless Heart - real treasure troves and show there was still a lot of the old DC under those US pomp rock productions. The one thing I would love to hear is an album reuniting David with Glenn Hughes. Insane they have been best mates for nearly 50 years but not recorded since MKIV of Purple split in 1975. Especially since Glenn has recorded with EVERYONE over the decades from Sabbath to Joe Lynn Turner to Gary Moore and Pat Thrall. And he is still wonderful as the new(ish) lead man of The Dead Daisies. You would think they would want to do one more for old times sake. I was surprised it wasnt a bonus for Whitesnakes Purple Album - seemed obvious.

I had the terrific honour of bein asked onto the Youtube channel of Nathan Jones, a YTer I have followed for years and can proudly say we have become friends. Nathan wanted to interview me on his Movie Journey series where he speaks to "Blutubers" about their life in film. While some names will not mean much, the previous 23 eps have had guests like Brian Saur who has had numerous podcasts with Quentin Tarantino, Elric Kane one of the pre-eminent horror podcasters, and Aaron Pynn who is kinda the man when it comes to cult and exploitation cinema. So to be asked to follow them after only 3 months on Youtube...quite wonderful. Its a bit of an epic but Nathan and I have much in common so we just kept yapping!

"First Amendment Audit" video's have always fascinated me for the last few years in USA.. You get the polite, respectful, clean language people clearly articulating how they are abiding by the Constitution.. Then on the other side you get the aggressive people shoving cameras in people's faces and using very disrespectful language.. Plus a lot of police officers who apparently don't know their countries' Law. Even I got it after a few videos a few years ago.
Tying up the Courts with their lawsuits etc etc.. From what I have been told to become a law enforcement officer it's something like 6(?) weeks training? I will investigate that. I did some checking here in Oz, they recommend you at least have a University degree before applying. I take that as they want people to have a bit more life experience/maturity.
Most of the videos are of cops and citizens talking 1 million miles per hour quoting their Constitution over and over ad nauseam .
Rapidly becoming "Us vs Them".

Hello everyone!
Yeah, I'm disappointed 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' wasn't nominated for Best Picture either.
