We haven't heard anything on this yet, have we?
I know Louise Jameson is quite busy these days, but it would be a real shame for this range to end now. It's a real gem of a series.

We've had stories with David Tennant and Catherine Tate, but more Donna is ncer a bad thing.
Oh, I just saw Series 4 and assumed Doctor Who. Could you please put Omega Factor in the thread title? The Recent Threads page doesn't show the board.

The Recently Updated Threads page doesn't show what section the threads are in, and is the page I primarily navigate from. So I only saw the title as "Series 4?".

If I remember correctly, the behind the scenes of series 3 said there would be another set but not immediately, so... we're getting one but who knows when

There was a gap between series 1 and series 2 being announced. I gather BF is committed to the range, so I guess it is matter of time before series 4 is put up for purchase.

I do hope there is more. Picked up all three series during the recent sale; finished the third story of volume 2 today 'Let the Angel Tell Thee'. Wonder if this series would be more successful if you could buy individual stories on download rather than having to buy a box set? I know you can get 'From Beyond' for free, but maybe more people would start listening if they could pick up one story a month for say £5. Also anybody know why John Dorney hasn't written any stories? Thought as he stars in it, he would be well placed to add a few scripts.

This is not the news I wanted to hear regarding omega factor.
It’s a real shame, it’s a great range.

I think that might be the saddest range cancellation we have had other than J and L Novel Adaptations? As disappointing as the novel adaptations loss were, there was plenty of other who to go around. Omega factor was pushing new ground, it’s not like there was a family of ranges for us to turn to that hit it’s partic niche.

I think that might be the saddest range cancellation we have had other than J and L Novel Adaptations? Not really, they weren't new stories, and were pretty much just regular Doctor Who adventures, albeit from books. Omega Factor was a new genre for BF and was al lot more original.

I wonder if they switched to a download only option it would reduce costs enough to continue.

Sad this is finishing..... but for me the high of series 1 spooky scary and a breath of fresh air, was then spoilt by watering down of the scary aspect, too many soap opera and relationship elements which changed its appeal. For me at least.

Late arrival to the table as usual....I watched the original show back in the day and loved it,dont know why I didn’t immediately get this show on audio. On strength of the first episode this is going to keep me busy.So Now i have Dark Shadows and Omega....and i will put in a prayer to the great big audio dramatist in the sky for a fourth series.

I admit I was a very late starter to The Omega Factor, but after recently listening to Louise's reading of the original series episode novelization and the whole of Series 1 I actually found myself enjoying a genre that really hadn't interested me that much before.
It's therefore a real pity that sales have led to the mothballing of the range just as I start getting in to it, and I will quietly hope that Big Finish can bring it back in some other format one day that works for all concerned.
