How do you feel about The New 52 universe?

Having only recently started reading a couple of ranges (Green Lantern and Green Lantern: New Guardians) and having never read the pre-new 52 material, I can't say I'd contribute much on the subject.

Last time I checked Doctor Who isn't part of DC's New 52 Universe, so this thread is in the wrong place!

i pretty much dropped dc comics from my pull list. grayson is the only one i buy. i tried the books i liked were cancelled for low sales or books/heroes i usually follow didnt grab me with their new versions.
basically when i think of the new 52 i think cancellations. i would say 3/4 of the launch titles got the ax and pretty much all the books they put out to replace them have been axed as well.

Unless you're a bat title. I stopped paying attention to DC a while ago, but it was on its way to being the Batman universe. But I can recommend Jeff Lemire's run on Green Arrow.

I teetering on whether or not to start reading Omega Men. It looks interesting and different from the other titles DC is currently running. The cover art definitely stands out.

Omega Men's been given a reprieve from the guillotine so should continue to issue 12 concluding the planned story arc (but needs sales to improve to last longer) I started reading DC in the mid 80s with a few series and buying almost everything after the Crisis on Infinite Earths relaunch - which seems to be when DC was at it's peak. Since then I gradually dropped titles due to the quality not being maintained combined with feelings of Superhero burnout. The post-Flashpoint relaunch with the new 52 hasn't been as good. Some creators aren't good enough and the editorial policy interfering with series and the merciless cancellations got rid of not only the bad series but also anything that was not sufficiently generic. DC have changed that allowing greater variety of series, though for how long seems to be in question as the order to stop "batgirlling" series has been given
