Its in Accounts
Regards mark687 And I remembered to buy it just in time to be a pre-order having thought I'd pre-ordered ages back and then discovered I hadn't while looking in my account for the "missing" 'Shilling & Sixpence' which turned out not to be missing at all. Phew, too close but I made it! Easy done in this case. With this, River 5, Jenny & Lady Cristina all available in varous overlapping bundle combinations it all got a bit confusing ....

Nice opening story to the set. Little hints about what’s happening with the Doctor and sets up the overall story for the set. Love River’s ragtag team!

What an interesting formula that makes this concept in general work
Light-hearted romps with genuine subtle emotional edge
I can almost guarantee nobody would expect a performance from Tom Baker like we get in this but goodness me its stunning yet still the Doctor . Take a bow Tom Alex and Dorney.
I also found Whodunnit rather charming

What an interesting formula that makes this concept in general work Light-hearted romps with genuine subtle emotional edge I’ve just finished listening to Kings of Infinite Space and I was going to say the same thing. The first two stories have been enjoyable and light hearted, but there’s the emotional slant that absolutely makes these. Can’t wait to listen to the next two.

The Fourth Doctor and River Song together was worth it for the pre-titles alone!! What a buzz I felt listening to that

New video trailer for River Song 4 and notice the way the graphics look at the :38 mark or so. Very much like the 12th Doctor's opening credits. I wonder if that is a really subtle hint to something in our listening future or just a nod?

I think it’s just because of the heavy use of time in this particular set.

Whodunnit? is great, especially when it starts to come together. Love me a murder mystery.
And now... enter the Doctor!

Oh, well Someone I Once Knew is just superb. A great way to finish off this set. Tom and Alex are utterly brilliant together and I think this is actually Tom’s best performance for Big Finish so far.
I really liked the connotations of the Time War in this set and that there’s races out there who will manipulate time in a post-War timeline where there’s no Gallifrey or Time Lords to intervene. I find that really interesting.

Also finished it! Well, I liked it. It was fun, especially the last episode with Alex and Tom together. That was great! It really makes you wish there was a chance that we could see these days with the UNIT-team and River and the Doctor...
It is a fun romp, River gets many witty lines and the villains are interesting and we definitely should see something like them more often.
I was just a bit sad that the set ended how it ended and that this means we might not see these villains again?
They really had potential!
Overall, I admit, the second box-set is still my favorite. This one did not quite push it off it's throne.

My Dinner with Andrew is tremendous. That Dorney is a secret weapon. A timey wimey plot you can actual follow that hinges itself on characterization. A writer after my own heart.

Well haven't started the last one yet, but so far I'm enjoying it just fine. ^^ It hasn't beaten Vol 3. in my eyes yet, but then again they set the standard WAY too high with that set. Still works though. So far my favourite is "Whodunnit?" even though I will definitely need more listenings to figure out what exactly is going on. xD It still has a cool atmosphere though. Also kudos for the non-human companions!
