In the preview for Jago and Litefoot Forever, Doctor Who Magazine revealed a brief plot synopsis for what series 14 would have been- and it sounded great. A secret invasion that only they could see, (inspired by They Live perhaps?) culminating at the New Regency panto at Christmas.
I’d love to see it in some form- possibly a novel (or in the spirit of the box sets a collection of novellas) or graphic novel. It sounds like David Richardson would like to do something with it in any case.

I hope they do something with this, I'd love it.
I'm hoping it gets the treatment that blakes 7 book did.

That would require a renegotiation of the license, as Big Finish can't release prose products of Doctor Who or Worlds of Doctor Who. Benny is licensed from Paul Cornell and Blake's 7 from B7 Media (the logo appears on the covers for the Blake's 7 audios). The PDF scripts are bonus with audio releases, and not for sale by themselves.

Presumably the 4 writers were paid for their scripts so, looking at it purely as a business decision, BF are out the money and would want to find some way of turning the 4 scripts into cash.

I would love a Jago & Litefoot book in celebrator the series with synopsis, reviews and anocdotes of what what we got and a glimpse of what we didn’t get with the unrecorded scripts included. I think I have their voices so fixed in my mind that reading their adventures would be a wonderful way to revisit them.
It is also why I am so excited by the prospect of the Jago & Litefoot anthology. I keep trying to write my own submission for that, but I find it so hard to capture them in words.
Although I am leaning towards a printed version I can’t help wondering about a...
Chronicles of Jago & Litefoot
Have the stories as part narrated audio adventures, however that would probably require a big rewrite of the stories. But it would be interesting to hear stories about Jago & Litefoot as told by, and from the point of view of, characters like Ellie and especially Quick. Plus new characters or those from previous series. The previous boxsets where always moving forward, perhaps these Chronicles could dip in and out of their timeline.
The more I write, the more excited I get about the possibility of more adventures in whatever form and it doesn’t do to get too excited by something that might not happen.

the article says ' "It's possible we may find a way to get that lost season out there in a different form" David says "I do hope it may be heard one day" '
and also - ' "we couldn't continue. We wouldn't recast Litefoot and we wouldn't have Jago going it alone" '
how you satisfy both quotes is unclear - a narrated version, a new companion for Jago (Betterman?)? or with different characters (Aubrey and Betterman? or completely new)?

Satisfying both quotes would be that they are able to do something non audio related- such as a book: the scripts as they are, or developing them into prose stories. For example; the script editor Justin Richards is an experienced novelist, so he of all people would have the skills to adapt them. Rights may be an issue, but given how much freedom Big Finish were given with the characters- (the story with Strax and meeting new series Doctors,) I’d hope that there would be enough goodwill that if there was a chance, it would happen if that was the route they’d wish to go. But time will tell.

Of course they could release them as pdfs with Jago & Litefoot Forever...
....highly unlikely, so I am intrigued what they will do with them.

I would love to see them as a Big Finish/Titan collaboration. Jago and Litefoot would work nicely as a comic I think it would be an easier transition than rewriting the scripts into full prose. Turning them into comics woudl be just a case of adding the visuals and possibly trimming a few lines here and there. Plus, given how Big Finish and Titan have been working together and cross-promoting products (Torchwood, Prisoner cover, the Eighth Doctor miniseries explicitly mentioning the audios) it seems likelier than getting the BBC to agree to let Big Finish publish a book.

This would be great, especially if it proved popular as this could spawn a whole new era of jago and litefoot, albeit in a different form.

Very impressive that after so many series they still had exciting ideas! I do hope we get to see these stories in some other format.
Also, anyone out there who maintains episode guides or timelines add the details of series fourteen.

On the podcast someone sent in an email asking about these. Nick's response to queries about a book or graphic novel release for these scripts was that it doesn't fall under the license, but a Companion Chronicles style release is something Nick is open to.
