Now that the Series has reached it's conclusion I thought it would be great to start a thread for your favourite J & L moments throughout the series and even in other ranges and mediums.
I have slowly come to enjoy them a great deal although I wouldn't describe myself as a hardcore fan.
One line stands out to me and rings in my ears because I thought George was going to start weeping a little. It's near the end of an episode that stars Oscar Wilde and they discovered that Oscar was one of several men who were to be completely destroyed by the stories villain.
George is talking about how utterly horrible it was to take advantage of men who were simply looking for love. Jago has a little difficulty understanding until Geoge says "the love that dare not speak it's name"
It's the way Trevor delivers the line with such sadness and horror and even indicates he fears the horrors will continue to go on until a more enlightened time comes about.
It was just so moving. Every time I think about it my eyes get a little wet.
The other moment th that stands out to me is actually from interviews and Trevor reveals that he doesn't own a tv but he finally bought a kindle because being able to hold th that many books on a single device was too good to resist. I always hear that and think to myself that in many ways that's even more old fashioned. To have the only modern device in your home be something that allows you to ave over 1000 books at your beck and call. It was utterly adorable and the same reason I own a Kindle fire.

I so do not want to misquote…
So many fantastic moments…
In Encore of the Scorchies how Professor Litefoot is unimpressed that they are alien… In a similar vein, The Devil’s Dicemen how Jago has seen it before…
In series 4 where the cab driver rode as if his life depended on it… Island of Death - shoot it between the eyes, which eyes, that pair…

A bit of a hidden gem by Justin Richards...'Mind Games' from The Worlds of Doctor Who.
It doesn't have any real twists, but is a great story with fantastic dialogue and setting.
The following story, The Reesinger Process, featuring the Counter-Measures team, is also excellent.

So far in my limited experience with the series, id say the cliffhanger to the mahogany murderers or the ending of the bloodless soldier, tho really its such an amazing series (as far as i have gotten i’ve found it to be amazing anyway)

There is a section where Trevor talks about what it was like being homosexual when it was still against the law in this country. It wasn’t that long ago. Its heartbreaking to hear the stories he tells. Also he will always have my undying respect for lay preaching about it in his local church in 1957-ten years before it was decriminalised. That’s flippin’ hardcore! That’s the kind of bravery and determination I hope to aspire to.

Encore of the Scorchies ...what wasn’t to love about it. I haven’t bought the final series yet....it may be too much to bear.

Had a bit of a ponder, trying to figure out the exact moment when their partnership clicks in The Talons of Weng-Chiang and... I think I've found it? It's certainly the scene I remember the most strongly from it. While they're trapped in the House of the Dragon, Jago confides in Litefoot: That to me looks like the start of a sincere and genuine friendship. One that would last the decades and, fortunately for the rest of us, it very much did.
