You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

Haven't listened in years but I enjoyed it for what it was. Not setting the world on fire.
The incidental music was rather cheesy and OTT and could have annoyed me, but I took it in the 1960s retro spirit it was (presumably) intended and it enhanced rather than detracted from my enjoyment.

If nothing else, you can use this to help chart the evolution of Wendy’s Jamie impression.

Its almost more of a bad James Bond or Star Trek Fan Fic and kind of clunky but the Dalek scenes save it from being dreadful.

I thought the story was okay. Interesting the way they framed it, considering Zoe had her memory wiped of all her experiences with the Doctor.

I hadn’t listened to this for over a decade but I honestly liked it better than I’d remembered. While the plot and prose are a bit pedestrian, they’re not bad and the production was buoyed by a wonderful central performance by Wendy. 3/5 for me.
