Bit of an odd choice? But I was blown away by how much I enjoyed Volume 1, and Carole always puts in a solid performance, so I’m in!

Hmmmm...what could this mean?
Well if Volume 2's good, I will definitely be getting this.

100% on board. Carole-Anne playing off her...4th version of The First Doc after Hartnell, Hurndall and Bayldon.

“ “It’s always a treat to work with Carole,” says producer David Richardson. “She’s so openly enthusiastic about Big Finish, and we’re currently chatting about new projects that you’ll see her in in the future. ”
Hint hint....maybe a short trip or companion chronicles?

Something to follow up on All Hands on Deck, perhaps? My hope is that the follow-up to that story will be Susan playing a significant role in either one of the Eight/Time War or Gallifrey/Time War box sets. Ideally as a player in all four stories of the box, but I’d probably be content with one if she’s used well.

Carole Ann Ford may get me to buy this one. As discussed elsewhere, the first set didn't do much for me.

Hmmmph... I hardly think it's fair if the 1DAs get 3 box sets in a year and the 3DAs only get 1 (hint, hint), but Big Finish might as well take my Lizzie Whatshernames too. :-)

Strikes me Carole is passing the baton, much like Leonard Nimoy in the 2009 Star Trek movie

Unlikely I know but maybe something with William Russell for one last go around.

So with Carole playing an enigmatic character called The Woman is she: A) A mysterious Time Lord? B) This mysterious Time Lord?C) An older Susan? D) All of the above? E) An unrelated new character who they cast as Carole just for the fun of it?

See, it's stories like these that I live for when reading Behind the Scenes stuff. It's always nice to hear BF is made with love and enthusiasm, I never get tired of it. Aw, damn -- hook, line and sinker; a Marc Platt historical story too, now I have to buy Volume 3. (Strange aside: Since Shakedown, I always thought Carole Ann Ford would make a good voice for the Rutan Host, either the gestalt of the race itself or its queen. Doubt that's what she's playing here, but still, it's the voice I have in my head when reading the books.)

Ah, very true. You're probably right there. Although I suppose A & B are still possible, even C if it's played ambiguously - the Doc asks "who are you?" knowingly, but she never answers etc. But yeah you've got me leaning E now.

Yeah, I've been super keen to hear Susan pop up in either of those lines after how All Hands on Deck went. Heck, gonna be greedy, give us a story with her in both!

Unless he assumed Claudia would be playing the part?
