Another recommendation for Bafflegab's Hammer Chillers and Blood on Satan's Claw.
Found this any good? Yeah, that's what me and Paz mentioned. It's six stories and they are very good.

Another recommendation for Bafflegab's Hammer Chillers and Blood on Satan's Claw. Apart from the BBC's Doctor Who range (especially the soundtracks to mainly lost television stories), the Beeb's adaptions of Charles Dickens (including Uncle Tom Baker's reading of A Christmas Carol) are favourites of mine.
There's also this: Riuchard Coyles' reading of HP Lovecraft's Shadow Over Innsmouth, which is exceptional - and free!
Also, Fantom Films have a selection of horror stories (mainly abridged) and read by the mighty Sir Christopher Lee. Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde is a cracker! Found this any good? Highly recommended, my friend!

I find I have to pace myself with Graphic Audio. 12+ hours or whatever it is.. wow.. What irks me more they waffle on about naming the cast at the beginning of the audio & then again at the end, just do it once GA not flipping twice, i get it Richard Rohen the Nick Briggs of Graphic Audio.

I would prefer physical but if there is no chance I have no real issue buying digital- I will just burn it to a blank cd and put in my collection

There's a jolly lot of audio stories out there. I've noted quite a few I like have already been mentioned, so only adding...
BBC's adaptations of John Le Carre, especially the George Smiley ones (with Simon Russell Beale as Smiley). I've also head A Perfect Spy, A Small Town in Germany and The Russia House.
BBC's radio adaptation of The Lord of the Rings is also well-beloved, but the on of The Hobbit is best avoided, I think.
There are a couple of Neil Gaiman short stories adapted by Seeing Ear Theatre - Murder Mysteries and Snow, Glass, Apples. There are also some BBC adaptations of other Gaiman stuff, which may be on interest if you like his style of writing.
If you can find them, there were 4 Space 1889 audio stories for steampunk fans. They were produced by Noise Monster Productions, which I think is now defunct.
There's a separate thread on the Dark Adventures Radio Theatre adaptations of the works of H P Lovecraft.
I can never go past an audio version of Oscar Wilde's work, and especially love to find another version of The Importance of Being Earnest. If you can find it, there's a reading of selected passages from De Profundis, chosen by Wilde's grandson Merlyn Holland, and read by Corin Redgrave in Reading Gaol, which I particularly like.
That's spies, fantasy, steampunk, cosmic horror and Victorian humour... Enough variety to suit a range of tastes!

You know no one seems to have done an audio of SHE by H Rider Haggard. Come on Big Finish.
